~ Bullying ~
You think its a joke, force that kid too take a toke,
laugh when you hear her cry, after telling her she should
die. A hit and a kick then a lie, 'naa miss it weren't me'
and she'll believe you you see. Less paperwork if she
just covers it up, so the kids just suck it up.
That little girl goes home, covers the bruises from that stone.
Won't moan, won't groan, keeps it inside too keep her friends
on her side. 'Save it for the pillow' she whispers, tears shouldn't
be seen by my sisters. The physical pain that they caused a constant
reminder that no one will ever be kinder than her.
For the boy its different, the wounds they cause can't be seen,
cause his demons have found words too be mean. No one can
see his pain so nobody tries too help, his only option too
make it visible himself. So he creates the scars and gets in trouble
nobody realising they've only be doubled cause someone else did
it first, he feels cursed.
The bullies go home to their perfect lives, wait no they don't
cause they too are struggling to cope. Instead of putting their
pain on themselves they put it on someone else, easier that way
to hide it, he thinks the other kids don't mind it cause he never
sees them cry, forgets its all just a disguise.
It's become an epidemic, the problem didn't start with the kids
you see. Its us, its you and me - we, all of us. We're being too tough
on our kids, cause them pain they'll cause pain too - but not on you.
They'll do it too some random kid, call him a pig or a twig just like
you did. You don't care, let em stare ' Do as i say not as i do.' Haha
jokes on you now your kids screwed too.
So its a constant cycle, get hurt cause hurt pass it on. Get hurt
cause hurt, pull down her skirt, push him in the dirt. Its all the
same, don't know who to blame. Don't even know who to help,
cause they cover it well - well, unless they decide to fix it themselves.
A permanent solution to a temporary problem, wasting a life
because you're afraid of what people say. You don't need to be
afraid baby girl, you know things, real things... way more than
they ever could. You're good, you're kind and i know you'll
make something of your life <3
