I want too go too Neverland she cries,i heard there lives some wonderful guys.
They all get along and they never grow up,
oh how i'd love to have such luck.
She closes her eyes and prays for a miracle,
just wants to fly way up into the sky where
no one can hear her cry. Not quite wishing to die
more hopeful that she can just hide for a while.
So peter, wendy and captain hook too come
to collect her just like she knew they would.
Finally they take her away from this town,
a place where she's only ever felt like a clown.
Finally in a place where she can stay young
Where she doesn't have to fear guns, rape or murder.
Where ignorance is bliss and a kiss really is just a kiss.
Somewhere she knows she'll be wanted and missed.
But quickly she realises that neverland isn't real, she's not a princess and only time can heal.
So she wakes up and leaves her mind, opens her eyes and prays not to be blind.
Embraces growing up and the great things that come with it like true love and fun and an appreciation of the sun
She doesn't need neverland and she doesn't need fairytales of old ancient times, for finally she realises that she is here now and that is okay and so is the sun.
