Him. 'Him' wouldn't stop. Everywhere Karlie walked she could feel his stone hard gaze on the back of head, as if he was trying to pry out the thoughts swirling inside her.

By the time it was lunch time she felt sick to the stomach, but she pursued for food anyways. That was a mistake. The cafeteria was jam packed full of teenagers, all looking at her as if she was on the menu. She honestly couldn't figure out why they all kept looking at her, despite the fact that she was the daughter of a famous CEO.

Eventually she found an empty table. What a surprise. Plopping her tray down at the table Karlie attempted to eat. Another mistake. The food tasted like the stuff you would get at a hospital, only it smelled like rotten eggs and it moved. Yeah, it moved.

Pushing the orange tray away from her she looked at her surroundings. Many people had turned their gazes away from her, their attention on the people who they were accompanying. She heard a chair move which made her head snap into the direction of the noise.

"Hi...are you new here too?" A girl with black hair and piercing blue eyes sat down. Karlie stared at the girl with a blank expression, one she quickly snapped out of.

"Um, yeah." Karlie said, glancing at the females outfit. It was a black jacket with a white tank top underneath, light grey jeans and combat boots. It looked stunning on the girl but doubted she herself could pull off such a look. "My name is Karlie, what's yours."

"It's Teah

"It's Teah. Teah Nick." Karlie watched as Teah extended her hand, waiting for Karlie to shake it.

"N-nice to meet you," Karlie stammered, shaking the hand. She didn't bother saying her last name, assuming Teah already knew it. Then again, she did ask if she was new here. Deciding not to say anything she looked down at the table, unsure of what to say.

"So why did you move?" Teah asked, looking at Karlie with curious eyes.

"My father. His business is rising up and he thought he would have a better business opportunity in America." Karlie said, smiling at the girl.

"Ah, my parents divorced and my father got custody of me. I used to live in Canada but he got a job offer that he thinks is better than the one he already had. I miss Canada already, I miss free health care and I miss not having to deal with all this Trump talk. It's driving me absolutely insane." Karlie laughed as Teah ran her hands through her hair, clearly frustrated on the topic.

"I couldn't agree with you more on the Trump business." Karlie said, Teah laughing along with her.

Karlie and Teah had talked all lunch hour, exchanging phone numbers and addresses at the end. They talked about their schedule, Teah was in all of her classes except for Chemistry and Music. It disappointed the two that they weren't in Chemistry together, they could've been lab partners.
