This is an alternate ending on how the talk with Carlos and Karlie goes. It was a request by KailaIsFab and I decided to do it because why not. I will let everyone know that this is one that you can either chose to place in the book itself or you can just read it on its own. In my eyes, what I have in the book is what I have in the book and it will stay that way. This is just for those who wanted a more happy ending between Karlie and Carlos.
(Due to this not being what actually happens in the book and future books that have Carlos and Karlie in them will remain as what happened in the book, not in this alternate ending.)
Enjoy!

A weak smile appeared on her face as she ran inside of the building, sadness creeping up on her. Her green eyes scanned the crowd of people as she weaved through them. The werewolves that attended the school parted to the side of the hallways in respect whereas the normal students continued to take up the halls. Just when she was about to give up she saw charcoal hair turn the corner of the hallway.
"Carlos!" She called out, her heart racing. At this point she was shoving people out of the way to catch up to the male, and when she did she latched onto his arm with her hand. "Carlos..."
He continued to walk, even with Karlie's hand still on him. She thought he was going to keep ignoring her, but instead he pulled the two of them into the janitors closet, he turned around, his face lingering on hers.
His appearance really had changed since she last saw him, as did his actions. His dark blue eyes looked slightly sunken in which made his cheekbones more prominent, and a small stubble was sprinkled on his chiseled jaw. The spark that used to thrive inside the blue orbs seemed to have hidden themselves from the view of others.
Teah had told her before that he was considered a bad boy, but his behaviour in that department had increased drastically. Enough that even his own sister was concerned for his safety.
"What do you want?"
"How are you? You haven't talked to me in weeks," Karlie pleaded.
"I've been busy with work, and besides, it's hard to look at you now."
"Why?"
"Because you hurt me where it hurt most," he said, his voice low. "I loved you and you didn't bother to tell me that I was dreaming about something that was never going to exist. Now I am force to forget about you, to forget that I had fallen in love with you, to forget about what you did to me."
"I didn't mean for things to happen this way. We can still be fr-"
His finger came down in her lips, stopping her in mid sentence.
"We can never be friends."
"What..."
Carlos started to walk away, but she grabbed on his shirt.
"I do love you, Carlos, but I love you as you. Nothing more and nothing less. Even if you don't want to be friends with me, I will still care for you and love you like you were my own brother."
"Do you really think I would want to be friends with you after what you did?" His eyes bore into hers and she looked away, a feeling of defeat appearing on her face. She was startled when she heard a huge laugh escape his mouth. His hands wrapped around her waist, swinging her into the air. Her feet knocked a few things off the shelves in the room, causing him to let her down.
"What..."
"Of course I still want to be friends with you."
"Really?" She said in bewilderment.
"I'd rather settle as friends then have no relationship with you at all. I mean, you still will be arriving to my house and I will still open the door shirtless-"
Karlie cut him off with a punch to the arm and he jokingly clutched it as if he had been shot.
"You hit me." Carlos quickly winked at her, enveloping her in a hug before she could comment on the inappropriate remark.
"I missed you," she murmured.
"I'm pretty sure I missed you more," he whispered back before pulling away. "I guess I am going to have to be more careful when I say somethings to you, don't want to get that little wolf angry."
She rolled her eyes, a smile spreading across her face. "Shall we go to class?"
He nodded his head as she opened the door and the two exited, only to be stopped by a short girl with red hair. Karlie wouldn't classify her as a ginger though, it looked as if her it were dyed red by how vibrant the colour was, but she could be wrong.
"Carlos Nick, I presume, and Karlie Brit. My name is Aspen Harris, I'm a reporter and writer for the school newspaper. I have some questions I would like to ask Carlos," she said, her voice light and airy. Her emerald eyes glanced Karlie up and down before she returned her attention to a confused look Carlos. He looked at Karlie quickly, nodding to her with a glint in his eyes before turning back to the girl.
She waved to him as she walked away, overjoyed that she has won back the one person she thought she had lost.

There you guys go! Like I said, this is just for those who wanted to read a happier ending but what happened in the actual chapter is actually what happened. Do not get confused.
Btw, there's this new cult I found about on Wattpad known as the BloodRainbowCultHQ . I was given the opportunity to check it out and I am definitely not a part of it. Neither is CricketyCrick . We are completely innocent!! I swear!! ;)
