(we're in Spring Day Era now)
(also this is unedited yike)When Jimin was younger, he had always imaged his prom night, his wedding night, his kids, his grandkids. There was always a beautiful girl there with him, his faceless mother fussing over his bow tie and making sure his hair laid properly. The same faceless woman with grey with hair hair walking him down the isle, standing beside another faceless person, but this one a man, this one his father. Sure, he remembered what his mother had looked like but preferred to pretend he didn't because of how bitter his opinion was about her. However, the memories of his father were seemingly dipped into a foggy haze, the edges no longer sharp. It was easier to imagine a different life as a kid, a smiling father without traces of disease, his mother smiling and happy, not like when she abandoned him.
When Jimin went to the adoption center, his dreams slowly morphed. There was never anyone there to fuss over his tie, no one to walk him down the velvet. A few years later, by his sophomore year, the beautiful girl became a beautiful boy. The aisle became shorter, the pews filled with less people, Jimin removing those he knew wouldn't accept him. The wedding eventually moved from pews to an outdoor venue, seeing as a church wouldn't be fit for someone like him anymore.
By the time Jimin was in college, those dreams dissipated. Never did he think that he would be walked down an isle. Never did he think he would find happiness. But here he was.
His mother wasn't fussing over his tie, but Mr. Jung was. His father wasn't smiling at him, but Mrs. Jung was. He wasn't in a church, but in a beautiful outdoor area. Hoseok was bouncing around happily, and Jimin couldn't hide his own excited smile. He shifted from foot to foot, staring at the ground as he focused on breathing. He began bouncing on the balls of his feet, playing with his hands, waiting anxiously for the ceremony to arrive. He opened his eyes when he felt someone's hands clasp his shoulders, looking at Hoseok who stared back at him with concern. Jimin turned and watched the Jungs head out to their positions, alerting him to how little time he had left. He began bouncing again before Hoseok smacked him lightly on the arm.
"Chim, chill the hell out, okay? There's no reason to be nervous." Jimin glanced at the elder with pleading eyes. "Okay, so maybe there's a little bit of a reason, but you honest to god need to chill the fuck out. It'll be fantastic." He spoke with such certainty that Jimin felt like he had to trust him. Nodding at his hyung, he closed his eyes and gathered himself before he looked up at the elder.
"I can't believe I'm doing this hyung. After dad died and mom left and I figured out just how gay I am, I never expected to be here. I thought I'd never get my wedding, I'd never see my beautiful fiancé because I'd never have on. Hell, I didn't even think we'd have twenty guests, and we have almost a hundred!" Hoesoek just laughed, smacking Jimin on the arm.
"Just get into places brat, we have places to be, people to see." Jimin shook his head and pushed the elder away, smiling as Hoseok shot him a thumbs up. He let out a deep breath as his JP ushered him to the front, reminding Hoseok to join him. Jimin laughed at his hyung, causing Hoseok to pout at him, making Jimin laugh louder. The pink haired man shook his head and smiled as the music began to play, resisting the urge to begin bouncing on the balls of his feet. He watched as Namjoon walked down the isle, rolling his eyes at Seokjin who blew him kisses and sent him numerous hearts, before he took his place opposite Hoseok.
Jimin couldn't breathe. Yoongi looked absolutely stunning. His inky tux and his midnight blue hair and his porcelain skin left Jimin floored. He knew that the elder was beautiful, but it was moments like these that never let him forget.
Eventually Yoongi's mother guided him to the alter, guiding him to his proper position before placing his hands into Jimin's. Yoongi smiled at he familiar touch and Jimin couldn't help but grin at the adorable expression on the elder's face. It was only when their JP started the ceremony that he remembered why they were standing at such a beautiful venue.
