Reader x Luke || When Sunshine Hits Your Face

*Your POV*

My brother Nico sat beside me, pulling up his hoodie, being gloomy. I turned around to face him. "Will you stop that, Neeks?" I glared playfully at him. "Your skin is so pale right now!"

"I hate...the sun," he huffed. "Screw sunshine..."

I snorted and opened the window, the sunshine hitting my face. I smiled. It was so warm and light.

"AGH!" Nico screamed. I yelped and turned around, seeing him jumping and running around in circles, trying to avoid the sunshine hitting him. "I HATE SUNSHINE! (Y/N) STOP!"

I laughed so hard.

"Close the window!"

"Nope!" I laughed and turned around to look outside. The usual thing was just a field with green grass, blue skies and clouds hovering. The sunshine hitting my face... And now I could see a guy running...across the field. I stared at him as he ran. Blond hair like the yellow sun...blue eyes as blue as the sky...His skin so perfect... He looks like an angel...

"(Y/N)!"

I snapped out of myself and saw Nico glaring at me. "Close the window!" He hid his face. "Please!"

I looked back outside. The guy was gone.

Nico suddenly pushed me aside and closed the window shut. "WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT OUTSIDE?"

I did not answer, knowing Nico would tease me if I told him. "N-n-nothing..." I lied. He stared at me for a while, then went to his room. "I'll go to sleep." He said, closing the door. I sighed and shook my head, going out of the house. I opened the door—the sunshine hit my face again. I laughed softly and walked across the field.

Couldn't you believe, that a daughter of Hades would love the sun?

I closed my eyes and lied on the grass, my face was so warm. The sun was almost setting, dusk would be arriving.

Suddenly, I heard steps coming towards me. I didn't open my eyes. Maybe it was just an animal or something.

The footsteps stopped.

I opened my eyes.

There was a guy crouching next to me.

The guy I saw earlier.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" He asked with a very, angelic voice. I widened my eyes and stared back at him.

"You're so cute..." I muttered softly.

"What did you say?" He tilted his head.

"Wh-what?? Oh n-nothing," I stuttered and sat up. But when I sat up he suddenly leaned closer to me.

"I'm...cute?" He smiled with his white teeth. I blushed. His nose suddenly touched mine. I looked into his eyes.

"EVEN THE SUNSHINE MAKES A COUPLE?!"

We startled and turned around and saw my brother Nico wearing his hoodie, scowling. "Screw sunshine..."

I laughed.

And then I stopped. What was that guy doing ANYWAY? Who was he?

"Luke. My name's Luke." Suddenly he answered. I looked at him, startled. He made a sideway smile. "I can read your mind."

All of a sudden the sunshine hit my face.

Wait.

ISN'T IT SUPPOSED TO BE DUSK?!
