*Your POV*

The happiest days of my life began when I woke up late for the first day of school. Everything had changed since we moved to New York. And since I got a bad moral record from my previous school, I guess the teachers would obviously do a thing—since they said the school was very strict. I don't know, but yeah. Who cares?

NOT ME.

My mom soon dropped me infront of the lobby, where I could sense some guys had been messing around.

In addition to that, there were also girls caking up their faces with makeup, which, I'd say, the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen.

*Please note the sarcasm.

Since then, I thought of my bestfriend Percy. My bestfriend since elementary grade. But then, under unknown circumstances, he suddenly disappeared when we were both in middle school.

I got out of the car and shouldered my backpack, ignoring the people staring at me. See, this was just like one of cliché movies. What is wrong with highschool?

I scrunched, trying my very best to not look like a girl. I tried, many times. I cut the sides of my (h/c) hair, I didn't put any makeup, not even a single teeny tiny one. I wore jeans and t-shirts, and I definitely regret wearing that dress for the gods' sake.

But before I could enter the entrance, someone bumped into me.

Alright.

Without a moment's pause I turned around to face the brickwall that had got into my way.

"Excuse me, but you just bumped me," I tried to sound politely. The guy stared at me, rolling his eyes.

"So what?" He huffed.

That's it.

"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?" I shouted at him, pulling him to me. I could smell his perfume. Ugh. Stupid perfumes.

(A/N NO OFFENSE. LOLS)

"My problem? You," he glared. I scrunched and pushed him, making him almost lose his balance and look at me wide eyed.

"Hmph," I glared daggers back at him. "That serves you right." I turned around and was about to walk away when someone grabbed my wrist, causing me to stop. I turned around. It's the guy. Again.

I then studied him. Jet black hair, sun tanned skin, green eyes. Is that even possible? I thought. He resembled Percy! Wait...alright. He's not Percy. I slapped myself mentally.

Suddenly he knocked his fingers onto my head. I yelped. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!?!" I screamed. Some people looked at us.

"Oh my god, that girl really has the guts to hit on my bae?" A blonde girl rolled her eyes, passing through us, followed by girls who snickered and glared at me. I suddenly realized we were in the middle of the hallway.

"Don't mind them," he smirked. "They're not my girlfriends."

"Girlfriends," I glared at him. "Will you please let go of my hand?!" I shook my hand aggressively out of his grip.

He chuckled. "Looks like you're new here, huh?"

"None of your business," I crossed my arms and walked out of the convo. "I don't want to get late to my class just because of some random badboy."
