Wow...it's been a while. Sorry I haven't posted any new chapters in a while. I know I've left a lot of people waiting (I haven't seen this many people read one of my ship books in such little time. My first ship book took forever to get an audience, so I'm surprised at how this one has risen), but I was with a lot of school stuff + with a lack of motivation, so yeah. I also want to apologize to anyone who has had a request that I haven't been able to get to. But, from what ship I'm gonna talk about, I can say that you weren't waiting for much.

Honestly, does anyone ship Grover X Annabeth? I search for them on Google and was not able to find anything. I've never heard of anyone who ships this...and I don't really know why.

I mean, people have always been inclined to splitting Percabeth up. There were Perachel, Percalypso, and even Percico shippers back in the PJO days. But no one ever thought of splitting Percabeth up in favor of Grover X Annabeth. No one.

There really is nothing wrong with the ship. I've seen plenty of people support the fidgety, nervous guy with the bold, headstrong, intelligent girl. Heck, they are a LOT like Romione...only that they're not canon and that they never had a love-hate thing. Grover and Annabeth have been hinted to be friends from the start, which is another trope people adore. Still, the problem really lies with the word hinted.

We've been told that Grover and Annabeth are close, but never actually see it. At least, not very often. It's ridiculous how we have plenty of insight with Annabeth's new friendships like hers with Piper and Reyna, but no real depth on her friendship with Grover. We like the trio as well, a trio, but we never consider it individually as more than Percover being the ultimate BROTP and Percabeth being an awesome ship. And how we have so little context on how they really interact makes the ship pale in comparison to the potential it really has. 

So yeah, a part of me is confused that this...does not exist, but another part of me understands why completely. There is not enough of them to really consider it as more than a strong friendship, and it might actually be better if that's all there is to it. That was all it was meant to be, after all.
