I love how this ship is with someone who is a full-on villain with one part of the fandom's OTP, yet the fandom will yell about Perachel any day over this ship >_>

I don't ship Lukabeth, at all. Lukabeth is the yin to Thaluke's yang. If Thaluke is angsty and bad in all the right ways, Lukabeth is angsty and bad in all the wrong ways. And a lot of it has to do with how the relationships are written. Because Thaluke was written as a positive relationship gone south; they have a lot of good moments in Luke's entry on The Demigod Diaries, and at their worst Luke shows that he still cares about Thalia, albeit in his own way, but Thalia understands when she sees him that Luke just isn't the same anymore.

Lukabeth is written in a very unhealthy manner; Annabeth's crush on Luke is idolization. Even when Luke was being a horrible person, Annabeth was so blinded by her crush that she'd try to find the good in the bad, like point out how smart he is and shit like that. Everytime Luke did something horrible, Annabeth was always quick to defend him, and I'm sorry, but that's not healthy at all. And she was a lot younger when she fell for Luke, so a lot of it had to do with Annabeth just not being in the right mindset when she fell for him.

Despite all this, however, I do like the concept of Lukabeth...as the unhealthy relationship that it is. I find how the relationship was written to be very interesting, and I would always love to get more insight into it. I guess I can't blame the shippers for wanting a bad romance out of it, but that doesn't do my girl Annabeth any favors. And I mean, there are shippers that still expect something healthy out of it, and yeah, I don't get those shippers at all.

So yeah, I definitely do dislike this ship, I mean, it's hard not to. But I don't hate it because, as a bad relationship, I thought it was written pretty well. If Lukabeth was abusive as fuck and if it was more popular, I probably wouldn't give the ship more benefits, but since people are willing to say it's fucking statutory rape (seriously what the everliving fuck), I like to give the canon relationship a pass.
