Usually I tend to be very critical of the Leo ships, mostly because of my distaste for him as a character, but also that I just tend to find him so incompatible with other characters.
With that said, it's always been different with Jason. I shipped them pretty much from the get go, yet I have a hard time really translating the love I have for them into coherent thought.
What I can start by saying is that I just feel a chemistry between them that I just don't feel with Leo's other couples. That, and Jason just seems like that perfect middle ground for Leo: He's level-headed but not serious, so he can actually enjoy some of Leo's jokes but still let him know when he really made bad ones. He's protective but knows that Leo can take care of himself. He's smart enough for Leo to get into, but not too smart to not inspire Leo to teach.
I just really like their dynamic I guess, how it can range from very subtle care to very obvious devotion, which I think would just get even stronger as they fall for each other. That and I apparently have a weakness for the supposed ladies's man actually being gay as all fuck for a guy who's out of his league. I enjoy the idea of them being friends first and a couple second, being playful with one another and trying to fluster the other.
This is all mostly preferences, so I'm not expecting to really change anybody's minds with this one, but hey, I never really do, but it happens anyway XD Overall I just really enjoy them together, a lot, even more than I'd want to.
