Oooohhh dear God, I really don't like this one. If Pipeyna is the dumb 'girls fight for boy but then they date' trope done right, then Rachabeth is that dumb trope done WRONG.
This ship exists entirely because of that trope, because really, there is no other reason to ship Rachabeth besides that. Annabeth showed her ugliest, pettiest side with Rachel, getting all jealous and mean to her when Rachel was just doing her own thing. I don't know how can people see any romance in that, or even an entertaining rivalry out of that. Everytime they had a bad moment I was like 'Rachel, sweetie, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry that an ugly ass bitch would even say that, oh my god.' I mean, I sure as hell don't think Annabeth is an ugly ass bitch, she's actually my favorite from the seven, but I still have to say that acted badly. Someone has to call her out, because Rick didn't.
I know Annabeth and Rachel are on good terms now, but they certainly aren't in good enough terms to be dating. I'm not even sure why would they date. I think Annabeth needs someone who understands her more. People really think that just out of the fact that two girls liked the same guy, that it's INGENIOUS and the most revolutionary turn of events ever that the girls fall for each other. No it isn't. There are a billion ships that do that, and it's a veeeeery hard trope to get right. It's not as simple as 1, 2, 3, and even then, it STILL isn't very interesting. Overall, Rachabeth is just a dumb ship really.
