Namara scampered after her sister throught the dead leaves outside of the rocks. Ice let them play outside under the watch of Mouse. Snow skidded happily and tossed up leaves wit her front paws. Namara growled playfully and leaped at her sister. Crashing into the white bundle of fur Namara gave her sister a sharp nip, making Snow submit.
"Why do you always have to do that?" Snow wined, pushing Namara off and shaking her pelt. Namara shrugged and gave her a lick on the ear. She felt bad whenever she made her sister submit but she had to show dominance. She needed Aliac to like her and know that she was strong.
Mouse pushed her tail in Namara's mouth making the little wolf be quiet. Namara shook herself free and listened to the forest. She couldn't wait until she was allowed to learn how to hunt. Wouldn'tb e long now. Sudden pawstep's made Namara freeze until she saw Stone and his patrol heading back to camp. Mouse nodded her head to Stone and gathered Snow and Namara back inside.
Namara groaned, she didn't like being stuck in the stuffy den. She wanted to feel the wind in her fur and smell the fresh air. But the thought quickly evaporated when she herd Aliac call a meeting. The black she pup raced with her sister to find a seat in front. They ended up sitting between Oak and Owl.
"I have put a lot of thinking in this and Ice will step down from being deputy. She has served me long and faithfully and deserves a rest. I had a long talk and Ice agrees. She wants to spend more time with her pups." Namara heard Aliac bark and she turned her head to look at her mother. Ice looked sad but relieved. Namara didn't notice how tired her mother was.
"The new deputy of Sky-pack will be Stone. Serve your pack well." Aliac said and leaped down to give Stone a lick on the shoulder. Namara saw surprise in the gray wolfs eyes and she knew he didn't expect to be chosen. Namara liked Stone, he was going to be a great deputy. When Aliac ended the meeting Namara sped around to see Flame.
She was pregnant with Stones pups so that meant Namara and Snow wouldn't be the youngest pups. Bouncing with excitement Namara sat with the fiery colored she wolf and asked "Can I name one of your pups?" Flame chuckled and nudged Namara with her nose. "We will see, young pup. I'm sure Stone wouldn't mind." Namara raced off to find her sister.
Snow was sitting beside Ice while their mother washed her. "Flame said i might be able to name on of her pups!!"  She yipped excitedly and leaped at her sister. Snow growled playfully and nipped her ear. Namara spun around and knocked Snow over, placing one paw on her sisters belly. "I win again!" Namara howled stepping off her sister.
"You have leader written in all of your attitude." Ice chuckled and herded her pups into the nursery. Namara sighed happily as she curled up against her mothers belly and fell asleep.
