"So," Stone began, as he was walking beside Owl down to the river. " Have you know Flame for long? You two seem to have know eachother." Owl cocked his head in confusion.
"Flame? Whos that?" He barked and leped over the river. Is he an idiot? Stone thought but then rembered that Flames name was changed when she joined them. "Oh i mean Nikita. Did you know her before she came here?"
Owl nodded and sunk his head low. "Yes I did. Feels like a lifetime ago. Me and Nikit- i mean Flame used to be lone wolves. we left our packs to be together but then when we got real close out of our pack territories she changed her mind. She didnt want to leave a pack. She wanted to start her own pack and save her sister from her old pack, The river pack. But we never made it there. The pack was gone."
Stone couldnt breath. The riverpack, Flame was from the riverpack! He shook his head with a low growl. "Who was Flames sister?" he ventured, afraid of the answer. He knew why Flame looked so familer.
"Nyra." Owl barked and ran ahead. Stone sat down, he was dizzy with anger and confusion. But how could he be angry when Flame didnt know what her sister did to his pack. It wasnt right for him to be angry. "I think we need to head back to camp." Stone said and ran past Owl. He needed to talk to Flame.
When he arrived at the camp he saw Flame eating beside Mouse. Hunger growled in his bely but he could wait to eat until after he spoke with his mate. Padding up to Flame he nodded his head in greeting to Mouse and nudged Flame. "I need to speak to you.' Flame stared at him for a moment but got up and followed him to their den. Settling down she began
"So, owl told you." She lowered her eyes and Stone couldnt stand seeing the fear in her eyes. "Yes he did but that was when you were Nikita, now you are Flame and this is youre new life. With me and our unborn pups." He nuzzled Flames muzzle and continued "You were looking for your sister Nyra? Leader of the riverpack.."
Flames eyes widened in surprise and said "Yes i was. Have you seen her?"
Stone nodded, "I think you need to speak with Aliac."
