Chapter 6

*Flashback*

I was so excited this night co'z Kiefer promised that we're going out tonight for a date and dahil na din today is our Anniversary.

Lately, nararamdaman kong may gumugulo sa sistema ni Kief at almost a week na din since the last time we met he makes sure na hindi ko maramdaman na nawawalan sya ng time sa'kin kaya lagi syang nagtetext at tumatawag.

"Babe? Are you ready? I'll pick you up at 6 o'clock. See you! Always remember that I love you so much and happy anniversary love of my life!" That comes from Kiefer, informing me about our date tonight.

"Okay babe, i love you too and happy anniversary! You're so sweet this past few days huh? Bumabawi ka siguro noh? Hahaha" kinikilig kong sagot.

After a couple of minutes, my phone rang and immediately, a smile was formed in my face. It's him, I answered the call..

"Hi Babe!" Said from the other line.

"Hello Babe, why did you call pa? In a few hours, we will see each other naman na eh." I said with some excitement in my voice.

"I just want to hear your voice, I just want to feel you presence and I just want you to know that I do really love you for this past year. I love you Babe. Magi-ingat ka lagi ha? Yung pawis mo after training, yung pagkain mo dapat laging nasa oras. Dapat lagi kang may sapat na tulog, iwasan mo ang pagpupuyat. I love you Babe, mahal na mahal na mahal kita more than you've known." Mahabang tugon nya.

I don't know why, pero iba ang feeling ko ngayon. Parang something will happen and I can predict na iba to at parang masasaktan ako.

"Babe naman, ano 'to? Huling dinner na natin kaya hanep ang mga habilin?" I asked in a joke way. I just want to lower the pressure that sooner will covered my whole system.

"Nope Babe, I just want you to know how I love you." He said.

Ginugulo talaga ako ng mga words na binitawan ni Kiefer pero mas pinili kong isantabi muna yun dahil special day namin ngayon.

Dumating ang 6 o'clock and he came, he give me a big tight hug when I come to him.

The ride went so soft and full of love.

Fastforward..

We're here na sa fave resto namin ni Kief, when I felt again that something's bothering him, I can't help but ask.

"Babe, are you okay?" I ask worriedly.

"Ahm,, ye-yess." His voice is a little bit trembling.

Something is really bothering on him. I know.

After we eat, he became so serious. He's just staring at me, so ako na ang bumasag sa katahimikan namin.

"Babe, c'mon! Spill it, I know you have that in your mind. Tell it to me." I pleaded.

He just nodded at me.

"I'm going to America."

Napapitlag ako sa narinig ko. Wait! What?! Pupunta sya ng America and I don't have any idea about it?! I'm his girlfriend, I should know his plans.

"Wait! What?!" Takang tanong ko at medyo napataas na din ang boses ko sa pagkabigla.

Ito na ba yun? Yung reason kung bakit these past few days sobrang sweet nya? Kasi ba iiwan nya ako?!

"I said, I'm going to America. I realized na gusto ko talagang i-pursue yung dream ko to play in an NBA league. I am breaking up with you." Blangko lang ang reaksyon nya habang binibitawan ang mga salitang yan.

"And I am breaking up on you.."
Paulit-ulit tumakbo sa utak ko ang mga huling salita na yan.

Di ko na napigilang umiyak, tuloy tuloy na ang pag-agos ng luha ko. Knowing na yung taong pinakamamahal ko,iiwan na pala ako.

"Na-realize ko na mahal ko pa din pala si Mika. I'm sorry Ly." Dugtong nya pa.

Akala ko wala nang mas sasakit pa sa pakikipag-hiwalay nya sakin, meron pa pala. Yun yung aminin nya sakin na mahal nya pa ang ex nya na nang-gago lang sa kanya.

I slapped him. The only thing I can do right now is to cry because it hurts.

"I'm sorry" the last word he said before I slap him again.

"Sorry?! Fuck your sorry, Kief! Yung sorry mo nakakawala ba ng sakit?! T*ngna Kief! Iiwan mo ako ng ganun ganun na lang dahil lang na-realize mong mahal mo pa yung malandi mong ex?!"

Madami pang bagay ang tumatakbo sa isip ko pero hindi ko mailabas dahil parang anytime babagsak na lang ako.

"Believe me, I'm doing this for you. I love you." He whisper.
