Helen:

By the time it was Friday, after school, I went to the mall with Glinda, Ismene, and Achilles where we made our way around the building that was crowed with people.

"So tell me" Glinda said "Have any of you been preparing for Prom?"

"Prom?" Achilles said "That's not until next month."

"I know, but I like to prepare at least a month before hand."

"Well to answer your question" I said "I haven't, I don't even think I will be going to Prom."

"Why not? It's Senior Prom, I get that you didn't want to go last year but it's your last year of high school, you might as well make it memorable."

"Oh it's already been memorable" I frowned "So memorable in fact, that no matter what happens, it'll always be in my head."

At that point Glinda gave a sigh.

"I just thought we can all go together" she put in "We don't need dates, we have each other."

"But still" I sighed "If I go, everyone will still tease me."

"No they wont, because I'll be with you, and if they do, they're gonna meet my fist."

"What's the deal with Prom anyway?" I suddenly heard Achilles asked.

At that point Glinda gasped again.

"Uh, everything" she said dramatically "It's the night where lovers can be lovers, where friends can be friends, it's the night memories are made. There no moment special than Prom night."

"I actually have to agree with her" Ismene said with a dreamy look in her eyes "Prom is so romantic and fun, where girls look elegant in their dresses and guys look so hot in those tuxes. I'm looking forward to going."

"Yeah I'm still not" I put in.

"Oh come on Helen" Glinda urged "Don't be a party pooper."

"It's just the last dance I went to was a total nightmare."

I wasn't lying, the last dance I went to was in 8th grade where I fell into the food table and got food and punch all over me. Everyone was pointing and laughing at me as I ran out crying, I haven't been to a dance since.

"Well maybe this time it wont" Glinda assured "In fact, just for fun, how about we try on some dresses? I know the perfect place, come on."

And with that she grabbed my hand and started to pull me away and into a boutique.

_______

Achilles:

I can't believe I have to watch these girls look for dresses they're not even gonna buy, this is what I get for going to the mall with girls. But just when I thought things were going well, I turned to the food court and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the devil himself, Randy. Oh damn, I needed to hide. So I quickly ran into the boutique where the girls were and hid in one of the racks between the dresses.

"Achilles what are-?" Helen started to asked when I shushed them and pointed to the food court.

I watched them look up and by their expressions could tell why I was hiding. I felt weird hiding in the rack, although I kinda reminded me of my childhood when I used to hide in the clothes racks whenever my family and I went shopping.

"Okay he's gone" Glinda told me as I sighed in relief as I got out from the rack.

"That was closed" I sighed.

"Looks like you'll be staying with us here" Helen smirked.

Eh, at least it was better than being out there.

"Hey how about this?" Ismene asked the girls as she held up a red prom dress.

"So cute" Glinda smiled "Try it on."

As Ismene went into the dressing room, Glinda and Helen continued to look at the dresses.

"Glinda what do you think of this?" Helen asked as she held up a short red prom dress.

"Nice" Glinda smiled "Although, I feel like red isn't your color."

"I think you should stick to natural colors" I suggested "Like black or white, it'll bring out your eyes."

"Oh" Helen said a bit surprised, probably by hearing an advice from a boy about a dress "Okay."

As she went to another rack to search, Glinda turned to me with a sneaky smile.

"What?" I asked.

But she just gave me that look as she went to help Helen. Seriously Glinda? Pretty soon Helen found a dress as she went to the dressing room to try it on.

"You know Achilles" Glinda suddenly said "While we're here, I think you should try on some tuxes."

"What?"

"I mean you gotta find your size, go try on some tuxes."

"Uh-".

"Oh come on" she sighed as she grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the tuxes section.

After selecting a tux, she tossed it to me as she shoved me into the dressing room. Well, since I'm here, I might as well try on some tuxes, at least I'll have something to do instead of wait.

________

Helen:

The dress fitted good, and I gotta say, I liked it. After I handed it back to Glinda, she handed me another one.

"This is the last one and then we'll go" she said as I took the dress and headed back into the dressing room.

But when I was about to walk pass a stall, Achilles suddenly stepped out with the tux top in his hands, but what really surprised me was that he was shirtless.

"Oh sorry" we both said surprised "Uh, it's fine."

"Well uh-" I said breaking the awkwardness "You trying on tuxes?"

"I am" he said as he turned to the one in his hands "Expect this one is a bit too big."

"Oh" I said as I tried to play it cool while trying not to stare at his abs.

Wait a minute? Abs? Oh my God his workout is doing great.

"Uh-" I hesitated while still trying not to stare.

Come on Helen, get a hold of yourself. This is your friend, stop staring.

"Another dress?" he suddenly asked.

"Oh uh, yeah" I quickly said "This is the last one and then we'll go."

"Alright then, I might as well stop trying on tuxes then."

And with that he went back into the stall. I couldn't believe what just happened, I don't think I've ever seen Achilles shirtless before. Whoa.
