Helen:

By the time school was done, I met up with Achilles in front of the school, and as always, my heart skipped when I approached him.

"Hey" I smiled.

"Hey" he smiled back "How was your day?"

"Oh the usual" she sighed.

"Right" he said with a guilty smile "So how's Hera doing with her new hair?"

"Not so well" I smirked "Everyone kept looking at her and she felt so embarrassed, I should feel sad but, I don't."

"Yeah well she kinda deserved it."

"Agree."

"Hey uh, are you gonna be busy this Friday?"

"No why?"

"I was wondering if we can hang out and like go somewhere together."

"Oh" I said as I felt my heart skip more "Well uh, sure we can do that."

"Great" he smiled.

"Well uh, I should get going, Ismene's waiting for me."

"Right, I'll uh, I'll text you later."

"K, bye" I smiled.

"Bye" he smiled as we headed off.

"So" Ismene said as we got into her car "What were you and Achilles talking about?"

"Oh he was just asking me if we can hang out somewhere this Friday" I said.

"Alright" she smirked.

"Ismene, we're just gonna hang."

"When are you gonna tell him?"

I gave a sigh "I don't know, this whole being in love with him has been driving me crazy. I can't sleep, I can't focus on my work, everything feels so different."

"Helen, you have to tell him, if you don't you'll explode."

"I want to tell him but I don't know when" I confessed "And just thinking about it makes me feel so scared."

"What are you afraid of? It's Achilles, he's your friend."

"I know but-" I sighed "I'm just afraid he'll only see me as a friend, and what if this ruins our friendship? I don't want things to be different between us."

At that point Ismene sighed too.

"I know that this is hard for you" she said "But everyone goes through this. They're not afraid to tell someone how they feel, they're afraid of getting rejected, and I admit it's a scary feeling. But look, I know you don't want things to be different between you and Achilles, but you have to tell him soon. You can't keep this in forever you know? If you don't so something it could be too late."

I can feel my heart beating in my chest, Ismene was right, I needed to tell Achilles how I felt before it's too late.

"Can you tell him tomorrow?" she asked.

"Nah" I said "I don't feel ready."

"Well tell you what, Prom is coming up, you have until the week before Prom to tell him how you feel."

"What?" I gasped.

"I mean you got time, but hey the earlier the better."

Oh man, I had until the week before Prom to tell Achilles my feelings.

"Can you do it?" she asked.

I began to think about it, the end of the month is coming up, and that means Prom is getting closer. I had a few weeks to tell Achilles how I felt, I mean, at least I finally know when I can tell him.

"I guess so" I said.

"Great" she smiled "Cause I swear if you don't tell him before Prom, then I will."

"You wouldn't do that" I doubted with a smile.

"Oh yeah" she smirked "Watch me."

And with that she started her car as we drove off.

Achilles:

In my room, since I didn't have my sketchbook anymore, I decided to draw on a piece of computer paper. But since I wasn't able to keep track of it like in my sketchbook, I had to store it in one of my old school folders. It wasn't much fun drawing on regular paper, my sketchbook had special paper made for drawing, but I guess I had to stick with regular paper until I get a new sketchbook. But as I was in the middle of drawing a raven bird, I suddenly got a call from Glinda.

"Hey" I answered.

"Have you told her yet?" she asked.

"What?"

"Have you told Helen how you feel about her?"

"Oh come on" I groaned "You know I'm not ready."

"Well when are you gonna be ready?

"I don't know" I shrugged.

"You need to tell her soon."

"I know" I sighed "I really want to tell her, but I don't know when."

"Do it tomorrow."

"No, too soon."

At that point she gave a sigh.

"Hey" she suddenly said "How about this? Prom is coming up soon, so why not tell her the week before Prom?"

"What?" I said surprised.

"I mean you got time to prepare, and hey, maybe you two can go to Prom together."

Oh man, I had until the week before Prom to tell Helen how I feel about her.

"I- I don't know Glinda" I said nervously.

"Oh come on" she urged "Don't you want to tell her?"

"I do but I'm afraid she only sees me as a friend."

She gave another sigh.

"Look" she said "I know that this is hard for you, but everyone goes though this. I know it's hard to tell someone how you feel about them. But know this, it hurts to love someone and not be loved back, but it's more painful to love someone and not having the courage to tell them. You have to tell her Achilles, you can't keep this in forever, you have to tell her before it's too late."

I gave a sigh as I rubbed my head.

"I just don't want things to be different between us" I confessed "I don't want to ruin our friendship."

"I know" she sighed "You two have been friends since Freshman year, and now there's this new feeling that could change everything. But she needs to know."

Glinda was right, I know I needed to tell Helen how I felt before it's too late. I had until the week before Prom, I know I had to do it.

"Okay" I sighed "I'll do it."

"Good" she said "Remember, you have until the week before Prom, and if you don't tell her, then I will."

"Glinda" I whined.

"I'm serious."

"Okay I'll tell her, just don't tell her before I do."

"Like I would do that" she doubted "Again you have a lot of time, but the earlier you do it the better."

"I know."

"Alright then, I'll see tomorrow."

"K bye."

"Bye."

After we hung up, I gave another sign as I laid on my bed and thought about Helen. Prom is getting closer, and I had until the week before to tell Helen my feelings. Man this just got hard.
