This story's a bit rushed, but oh well. This is a bit of a continuation of Facts, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to read that one first if you haven't already
"please, Tia? Please please pleasse?"
"Hollow, for the last time, no."
"Oh, come on, Tia! Why not?" The cat-like queen sighed, staring down at her younger sister.
"Because you weren't invited, we've been over this!"
"Fuck being invited, sis! Since when have you cared about that?"
"Since now."
"No, since never, Tia. Which is why you should let me come with you!"
"Why should I let you come with me?"
"Well fore one thing, like I said, who fucking cares about being invited, and second, last time you went to a meeting on your own, you nearly got your sorry ass killed!" The dark-furred princess gestured to the bandages around the tan-furred queen's midsection. "For fuck's sake, the wound hasn't even healed yet!" Tia moved her paws over the spot in question, attempting to hide it.
"Yeah, well, last time was last time, and-"
"And, well, last time could be this time. So, I'm going." Hollow rose to her paws and walked towards the closet, her fake front right limb creating a metallic clink as it tapped upon the tile floor.
"Hollow!-"
"Hollow nothing, Tia. I'm going and you can't fucking stop me." She opened the closet and began to dig through it.
"Hollow come on, I'll be fine, we both know that!"
"You come on, Tia." Hollow pulled a dark blue cape out of the small messy room. She sat down and buttoned the cape around her shoulders.
"Why does this bother you so much, anyway?"
"I don't know, why do you want to come with me so much? it just gonna be boring kingdom relations stuff."
Hollow sighed, holding her artificial limb in her living one. She turned towards her sister slightly.
"I'm worried about you, Tia. Your my sister, who, apparently, is on an assassin's hit list. It's kind of something to be unsettled by."
"Aw, hollow-"
"That and I don't feel like taking the queenly position. It's so boring!"
Tia chuckled slightly, walking over and sitting next to her younger sibling.
"Hollow, I know that your worried. You don't have a single reason not to be! But trust me, I'll be fine. Last time I wasn't being careful. I dropped my guard and ended up paying the price for it. I learned my lesson, and this time I won't be so careless. I'll be as careful as I can be, ok? You just have to trust me. Can you do that, at least?" The two sat in silence for a moment before hollow chose to answer.
"Alright."
"Good, so-"
"I'm still going with you."
"Damn it."
