This one's kinda stupid, but It was begging to be written.
"Knock knock"
"Come in."
"Aw, c'mon Appy! Why don't you ever do these right?" Solstice rolled her eyes, watching the demon bicker with her spirit friend.
"Miryenn, maybe they just don't like those kind of jokes."
"But everyone likes a good knock knock joke, Sol! Appy's just being annoying!"
"Not everyone finds them funny, Miryenn."
"Oh yeah?" Miryenn turned to face the spirit floating before her.
"App, are knock knock jockeys funny?"
"Hmmm..." An idea popped into Apathy's head.
"Yeah, I do. Actually, know a really good one. Wanna hear it?"
Miryenn's eyes lit up as she smiled, while Solstice snickered quietly.
"Yeah, sure!"
"Ok, well, first off, imma need you to start it."
"Alright! Knock knock!"
"Who's there?"
Miryenn opened her mouth, only for her jaw to hang open. Solstice and Apathy began to laugh. The realization settled in Miryenn's mind. She had been tricked.
"Woo." Between giggles, Apathy answered.
"Woo who?"
"No need to get so excited Ap, it's just a joke!" Now it was Apathy's turn to be left speechless as Solstice only began to laugh harder.
