Chapter 7: Lu-Chan's assumptions

Lucy's POV (Yeah that's right something different :3)

Well it's friday morning; last day of the first week. This will be a long year but it will be bearable. With Natsu by my side, he was always there and when he asked me out; sure he's an idiot but he took time out of his day to at least try something romantic. What fun it was.

I crawled out bed and took a quick shower. I then got my white blouse, blue tarten skirt which went just above my mid thigh and tie. I put on my knee high socks and my school shoes on. I then walked over to the mirror and put my hair in pigtails today just to keep it simple. I then added some mascara and a light shade of lip gloss to give it the final touch
"Done" I smiled to myself
I looked at the clock and it was almost Eight
"Damn! i'm going to be late!"
I quickly grabbed an apple and I was about to exit through my door until my dog Plue barked at me
"Oh sorry Plue" 
I quickly got some food to last him for the day; just as I was about to exit out the door a tap on my window was heard
"Oi Luce!" 
"Natsu ever heard of a door?" I sweatdrop
"Well I was waiting for you outside but you were taking to long" he pouted
"well i'm going now come on" I said exiting my apartment
I locked the door and Natsu was already outside the Lobby, waiting for me; I smiled.
"Took you long enough, I thought I was going to die of boredum" he groaned
"Sorry Natsu" I then kissed his cheek "you could have just knocked on the door ya' know" 
Natsu looked away a little and I could see a slight blush, aww cute
"Yeah but I would have to go through the lobby and sign in and stuff and it takes to long" 
I shrugged and started to walk in the direction of school but Natsu caught up and held my hand. I smiled to myself, his hand is warm and it just feels right; I wonder if he thinks about these things also?

We walked for another 10 minutes and we got to the school gates
"Why is the walk from your apartment to school so short?" he groaned
"I don't know...why are you asking?" 
He went a bit pink in the face and a small smile crept onto my face
"B-Because I just want to be with you by myself without the others around all the time"
"Well aren't you sweet" I said this time giving him a kiss on the lips, he held my waist and deepened the kiss; we stayed like that for a few seconds and let go. He grinned his usual toothy grin and we walked into the halls, separating so we could go to our lockers, I make it sound like a sappy love story and like we're breaking apart, yeah lets not go there. 

I went to my locker and put in the combination; I got my books for the morning and placed my bag inside my locker
"Hey Lu-chan!" 
I turned around and it was no other then my best friend Levy. She's a sweet little girl although she is older than me by a few months, kind of scary I know
"Hey Levy-Chan what class do you have?"
"Uh I have Technology...well I did have history at that time because history is my main subject for the year but some of them were replaced with Technology because of the science project"
"Ah yes the science project...how is that going by the way? is Gajeel giving you any trouble?"
"uh no...he's anything but" she shrugged smiling a little
"Huh? you're kidding right?"
"No I believe he has his good traits"
"He's a delinquint Levy, don't get to close to him"
"now don't hate me but...I actually want to get to know him..." she said shyly
I paused and it was silent
"Well this is interesting" I bursted out
"Why do I feel you could have reacted differently?" she stuttered
"Could it be you have feelings for him?" I cooed
"Now you sound like Mirajane" she sweatdropped but instantly defended herself "Oh wait! No! Lu-chan why would you think such things, I have only known him for a few days!"
"But seriously Gajeel?" I said quirking an eyebrow
"He's not like everybody says" she defended
before I could answer the bell rang
"Well I guess thats your que to go" I smiled sweetly at her
"Yup...and don't get any ideas...It's only a onesided thing...me thinking him as a friend I mean" she corrected
"whatever you say Levy-chan" I say waving her off
I locked my locker and turned around, bumping into someone in the process
"Oh sorry" I exclaimed looking up to see it was Gajeel "Oh-I uh"
"Don't even bother" he interuppted
"well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed" I mumbled
"What was that Blondie?"
"Ah nothing" I smiled innocently
he just sighed
"Have you seen the shrimp?"
"You mean Levy-chan?"
"yeah..."
"Uh she went to class...Technology I believe"
"Crap...I have to do that ass of a project" he mumbled, probably something I wasn't meant to hear
He then started to walk in the direction Levy left in but I called out
"Gajeel!"
He turned to look at me with a stern look in his eyes
"What do you think of-" But I paused...should I ask such questions?
"Well?" he questioned
"Ah nothing...just forget I said anything" I said waving it off
"Annoying" he grumbled
"Better not use that attitude with Levy-chan she may be small but she does pack a punch" I pointed out as a matter of factly
"Don't have to remind me twice" he said walking off

I wonder...
