Gajeel's POV

I have never driven anywhere so fast in my life. Well I wasn't really driving, mum was. Damn it all, you get what I mean.
When we got to hospital, Which was quicker than expected but as I was saying mum was driving pretty fast, idiot; we got out of the car. forgetting to lock it but I don't think mum nor I cared at this moment in time. All I cared about was seeing Levy. Hoping she didn't hate me or go insane like Lily did. You know what, why am I even thinking about Lily? She is no longer in my life, Levy is and that's all that matters now.
We went to the front desk and I asked.
"Levy McGarden."
The man at the desk simply nodded and told us her room number, even though I already knew it considering how many times I have been to this place in the past week.
We ran to the elevator clicking the button to go up. We waited there for thirty seconds and the elevator still wouldn't open the god damn doors! I growled and ran up the flight of stairs and mum yelled out but I didn't listen. I got to the second floor in no time and as soon as I looked down the hallway I saw Levy's room. I suddenly stopped in my tracks. What if she reacts the same way. I shook my head. Like I told myself before. This isn't about Lily. I slowly made my way to her room. As I approached the door I heard voices. I stood in the door way and what I saw brought tears to my eyes. Levy was awake with a smile on her face. Here mother, sister and some other guy was there also; along with a nurse that was checking her moniter.

"I'm so glad you are awake!" her sister cried out hugging her.
"I am too. It merely felt like a sleep." Levy laughed.
Suddenly Levy's mother turned around seeing me. She smiled.
"So is uh...Gajeel anywhere." Levy asked.
That's when I couldn't hold it anymore. I choked in a sob and Levy turned her head towards me.
"Gajeel!" She said softly, a soft smile followed after it.
I walked up to her bed and the boy I did not know moved out of the way, along with Levy's sister. When I was at Levy's bed side, tears were slowly trailing down my cheeks, I was just hoping to God she did not notice but I didn't care. I leaned forward and hugged her. I was shaking. She wasn't mad. She didn't go crazy. She is still smiling at me.
"Shh, it's okay Gajeel. I'm back. It's okay." She whispered, hugging me back.
I suddenly heard my mothers voice in the background but her panicked voice turned into a releived sigh.
However, I stayed in that position for a good five minutes before I came to my senses. I let go of her, and I stopped crying. When I looked back at her she just smiled and held my hand and suddenly she had a shocked expression.
"THE SCIENCE PROJECT!" She suddenly yelled.
I couldn't help but burst out into laughter.
"Calm down Shrimp. Teacher let us off. I mean...come on." I chuckled, after my laughing fit was over.
She sighed and suddenly flushed in embarrassment. Cute.
"Wha? I've been out for just over a week and you are back to calling me Shrimp." She pouted.
I grinned.
"Sorry Levy, gihihi." I replied.
"Anyway. Do the others know? And when can I get out. I hate hospitals." She huffed.
Yep. As energetic as always.
"Levy honey, I already told you. The doctors want you to stay the night to make sure you are okay and then you are free to go. And the others don't know yet. Didn't exactly had the time but we did call Gajeel." Levy's mum smiled.
"Thanks mum." Levy said softly. Slightly glancing up at me and imediately looking down with a smile. Strange?
"But seriously hospitals suck ass." Levy argued.
"Levy!" Levy's mum gasped.
Oh yeah. Levy doesn't say shit like that.
"Sorry mum. I've been hanging around Gajeel to long." She laughed.
"Like that's a bad thing." I grinned ruffling her hair.
"I certainly think so." My mother joked. I rolled my eyes.
Suddenly I heard laughter. It was coming from Levy.
"Wh-What?" I stuttered.
"Your clothes. Their so cute!" She squealed, giggling.
I looked down and felt my face heat up.
"I didn't have time to change!" I defended.
She just laughed and reached out to hug me.

(Later that day)

Levy's POV (WHOO been a while)

"Aha bye guys! And thank you all so much for visiting." I called out as Lucy, Natsu, Mira, Lisanna, Erza and the rest left. Even Jet came and he explained to me what Droy did. I was shocked to say the least but at least I know now. Hopefully it will all blow over.
I sighed. I missed them all and it only feels like yesterday that I saw them all. Funny thing about being in a coma. Feels like a very deep sleep but I was really fighting for my life. Scary.
I looked out the window and the sun was beginning to set. Suddenly I heard a knock at the door and I turned my head to see Gajeel.
"Oh hey Gajeel! You left this morning, why are you back? Not that I mind but everyone else just left." I smiled.
His face seem to go red a little.
"Well...How do I say this...This morning I got a call from your mother and I left out the door imediately so yeah. The clothes and shit and when I got home I felt like I had to do something. I mean. It's been almost two weeks since I have seen you last and you have no bloody idea how much I missed you, I even caused a fight at school-"
I glared at him.
"Don't worry Erza and Natsu beat me up." He assured.
I nodded and let him continue.
"Anyway! Before I decided to back out on this...I kinda asked your mum what you liked. Even though I considered books and she helped me out with this and ah...Fuck it. here." He stuttered.
Handing me a wrapped up present and flowers.
I couldn't believe it. The smile on my face probably made me look like the mad hatter but I didn't care. Gajeel literally left the hospital only to just come back before visiting hours ended to give me this. I am happy.
"Oh my goodness thank you so much!" I said.
I looked at him and I had the urge to get out of my bed and to just kiss him. I wonder how he would react. I wouldn't know.
But I did slowly slide out my my bed. The drip still attatched to me. Gajeel suddenly freaked out and held my small hands after I placed the gifts on the bed. He helped me out of my bed and my legs felt weak. I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back.
"You have gotten taller." I smiled.
"Have I?" He suddenly asked.
I Nodded.
"Well...maybe you have just shrunk." He chuckled.
I hit him slightly and he laughed. We stayed standing like that till he suddenly leaned forward and did something that almost made me fall drop dead on the floor. He kissed my forehead and I blushed.
"Um..." He stuttered standing up straight. "Tomorrow could I meet you in the park? If you are up to it." He asked.
I looked at him wide eyed and nodded slowly. He nodded also.
"Visiting hours are over, please finish it up." A femlae nurse suddenly called out.
I looked at the door and replied with a simpled 'okay'.
"Well don't strain yourself. Because four o'clock tomorrow I better see a head of blue hair." Gajeel said letting go of my hands and walking out the door. He looked back once more before leaving.
I sighed and sat on my bed again. I looked at the gifts Gajeel gave me and smiled again.
I placed the flowers in the vase next to my bed and grapped the present. It was wrapped with orange wrapping paper and the ribbon that was tied in a bow was actually my...checkered headband I lost. Gajeel had it this whole time?
Suddenly a choked sob escaped my mouth and I untied my headband and began to un wrap the present and what was in it just made my happy tears keep their flow. Inside was my favourite flavoured chocolate and a book. I read the title of the book and it said.
'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower'
I have only seen the movie! I was meaning to buy the book as soon as that science project was done. He really did get help from my mum.
I traced my fingers over the book and took it out of the wrapping paper along with the chocolate. I was about to throw the orange wrapping paper in the bin beside me but a card suddenly fell in my lap and it had my name on it.
It's Gajeel's handwriting, which wasn't that bad for a guy.
I tied my hair up with my headband Gajeel had on the present and I opened the card.
On the card it had a picture of two birds. I smiled. I love birds.
I opened the card and began reading. I giggled at a few parts but eventually I started bursting out into tears and continued to read the card. When I finished I was a blubbering mess.
"Gajeel-"
