Chapter 11: Living with a Dragon part 2

*coughs* well here's part two of living with a dragon.... >.>

I turned off the tap and stepped out of the shower, leaving a little pool of water beneath my feat, I grabbed the spare underwear I brought to Lu-chans for just in case and put then on, immediately looking in the mirror

'Who are you kidding Levy...he wouldn't like a girl like you I mean come on look at you'

I looked at every curve of my body and sighed. I was a B cup, short and small in the frame but I guess there is an upside, my hips are a plus

*knock knock*

I spun to the door and sighed in relief, it's locked
"Who is it?" I called
"It's me how long are ya gonna take in there I need a shower too ya know" Gajeels gruff voice called out
I twitched in annoyance
"Look I know this is your house but if you want me to walk out half naked then be patient"
He went quiet after that and I sighed looking at he clothes Louise gave me
It consisted of a black, sleeveless dress with a white belt, it was simple but it was nice and I suppose if she gave me trousers and a t-shirt the trousers would have sagged and she was even nice enough to give me some white shoes to go with it
"She's too kind" I smiled changing into the dress walking out with the shoes in my hand
"Okay I'm done sorry I took so long" I said to Gajeel whilst drying my dripping hair a bit
"Hn" he replied softly
I looked up at him and I tilted my head in puzzlement
"Gajeel are you okay?"
He was looking away from me and hmphed in response
"Gajeel seriously what's wro-"
"It's nothing! I just have a lot on my mind" he growled
I flinched but sighed
"S-sorry I'll just leave you to it" i whispered about to go down stairs
I was halfway down until Gajeel spoke again
"Levy...I-I didn't mean it like that...im just not thinking things through" he sighed
I froze did...did he just call me Levy? I turned around and looked up the stairs and I could just see him at the bathroom door and his face was red, what's going on?
"It's okay Gajeel, I understand" I smiled
I walked down stairs without uttering another word and I heard the bathroom door close behind me.

Gajeels POV (sorry bout the short Levy POV)

(20 minutes before)

"Meow~"
I looked at my feet and Pantherlily was rubbing against them. I wasn't really doing anything, just laying on my bed but it was getting annoying
"What do you want huh?"
He then crawled onto my stomach and I sighed
"Food...well I don't have any Kiwi's right now, so you're just gonna have to live with cat food"
if this cat could understand me I swear he would have scratched me to buy some, he's obsessed with Kiwi fruit and I have no Idea why.
I grunted and got off my bed, opening my bedroom door. Lily followed me out and down the stairs, I walked into the kitchen and found mum drinking coffee, or tea or whatever. She looked up and smiled at me.
That's when I looked around and didn't see the shrimp anywhere
"Is she still in the shower?" I asked
It's been 10 minutes how long does the girl take!
"Yes she is, Girls do occasionally take longer in the shower than boys Gajeel"
Well Mum does take about 15 minutes but seriously?
"Whatever...do we have any kiwi fruit? or cat food?" I asked
"Sorry no kiwi fruit but the cat food is at the bottem of the cuboard"
I huffed in response and got the bag of food out and poured it in his bowl, he didn't look impressed but he ate it anyway
"Fussy little shit"
"Language" Mum replied finishing her drink
I grunted and sat on a chair oppisite to mum and just leaned on my left arm

It was silent for a while but I heard mum shift so I looked up and she was looking at me
"So This girl Levy what is she like?" She asked smiling
I narrowed my eyes but sighed, well should have seen this coming, I did kind of just admitted she was my friend
"A shrimp and a nerd" I replied
She rolled her eyes
"Come on dear, details, she seems like such a lovely girl"
I chuckled and mum looked at me weird
"She said the same thing about you when you went to give her a change of clothes"
She looked puzzled at first but smiled
"Well ain't she a little sweetie"
I smiled, I guess she kind of is
"She also likes books, for the past week I catch her reading a different one every so often" I started
That's a bit of an understatement, I see her with new one everyday
"She's also really smart, but she hates math but I can't blame her that class is shit"
"Gajeel-" she warned
"I know, I know Language" I interupted
She nodded as if asking me to go on
"and considering her size..." I paused "She is strong, girls at school tease her but she doesn't say a single word about it...I mean if that was me I would have pulverised them on the spot" I growled "But what I don't get about her is when her friends say stuff about me either behind my back or in front of me, I honestly wouldn't care less but she keeps on defending me and telling them i'm not a bad guy but that's where she is wrong" I finished
There was a pause of silence
"Honey...you may think that but if this girl thinks otherwise then there must be something in you no one else has seen"
"But what could she see in me that others don't! How could a girl as kind, as small, as fragile and as..." I paused was I really going to say that?
"As what dear?"

(I just fangirled over my own fan fic.....)

"...A-As beautiful, as her would take a second look at me" I sighed putting my face in my hands
I then felt a hand on my arm and I looked up and mum was smiling at me
"Because she loves you dear"

(THATS RIGHT MUMMA DEAREST ISN'T STUPID...Okay continue)

I widened my eyes and imediately shaked my head
'What? now mum is going delusional'
I felt my face go hot, what's the hell is wrong with me?
"And the fact that you're blushing; I find it safe to say you like her too"
Wait i'm blushing?

*Flashback*
(I had to re-write flashback 4 times cause i kept putting ; there instead of L....Lol)

"Eep"

I felt a sudden tug on my shirt and I looked down slightly, not keeping my eyes off the road, Levy was gripping onto me like I was a life line. I chuckled and she sqeezed into me a bit more from behind and I felt my face get hot again and my heart pace fastend.

*Flashback end*

Is that what that feeling was before? I felt my heart pace fastened again.

Shit, shit, shit!
"She's making me go soft" I accidently said outloud, with my head on the bench
"And good thing too" Mum giggled
I sighed
"But even though I do...Um...Like her I seriously doubt she likes me back, no matter what you think"
"Meow~ Meow~"
I looked at pantherlily who was now on the bench up in my face"
I swear I just saw a glint of knowing in his eyes
"Not you too" I hissed
Mum giggled
"I'm gonna take a shower now" I said before anyone else could say anything else
"Remember to knock" Mum called out

I walked up stairs with a bunch of thoughts running through my brain. I walked up to the bathroom door and I didn't hear the shower running anymore but I knocked anyway
"Who is it?" I heard her soft voice called out
"It's me how long are ya gonna take in there I need a shower too ya know" I called out

I took a step back and felt my face get hot again, why the hell did she have to bloody say that!
By half naked did she just mean her-
Shit I sound like a pervert! stop imagining-
"Okay I'm done sorry I took so long" I heard Levy say opening the door
Gah my face is still red
"Hn" I replied looking away from her
"Gajeel are you okay?"
"Hmph"
"Gajeel seriously what's wro-"
"It's nothing! I just have a lot on my mind" I growled running a hand through my hair in frustration
I heard her sigh and instantly felt guilty
"S-sorry I'll just leave you to it" she whispered very softly that I could barely hear her
I heard her footsteps go down the stairs; I had to say something
"Levy...I-I didn't mean it like that" I paused "im just not thinking things through" I sighed
I turned around and I could see she stopped halfway down the stairs with wide eyes. What did I do now?
"It's okay Gajeel, I understand" She smiled
I felt my face get hot again, she looked so p-pretty. Shit I sound soft again! But I guess it's true, she looks good in black and her curly blue hair was slightly wet which made it even more wild...why would a girl like that like me? Mum doesn't know what she is saying.
I walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind me and pulling my black shirt over my head.

Levy's POV

I walked into the kitchen, assuming Louise was there and you know what she was. I walked in the kitchen with the a towel in my hand and she looked up smiling at me. It was kind of creepy
"Did I miss something?"

So anyway what did you guys think of this chappie?

Gajeel pretty much understands his feelings and so does Levy but NEITHER ONE OF THEM BELIEVE THAT HE/SHE LIKES THE OTHER

Okay calm down Anotherdamnotaku....so what do you think will happen? Louise is a devious one...kind of

Well i thought I would update this in a few days but NUP, my bordum got the best of me and I did the other half in an hour!
