Chapter 12: Living with a Dragon part 3

"Did I miss something?"

"Oh no dear, not at all. Gajeel just went to take a shower; did you see him on your way out?" Louise replied sweetly
I nodded with a smile
"Although he seems to have a lot on his mind" I replied
"Oh don't worry, it's nothing you should worry about"
I nodded and looked around the kitchen
"Um do you know where my school bag is?" I asked
"I think it's out in the loungeroom, next to the couch"
"Thanks!" 

I walked into the loungeroom to find my bag right next to the couch just as Louise instructed. I walked up to it, crouching down to unzip it so I could get my hairbrush but something brushed up against my leg causing me to jump a little
"Meow~" 
"Huh?
I looked down and I saw a black cat with a scar on his right eye. I blinked twice before picking it up 
...
"Oh my gosh you're adorable!" I sqealed
"Me-ow?" It replied like it understood me tilting it's head to the side
I cradled the cat in my arms and scratched under it's neck, instantly it started purring
"Levy did something happen?" I heard Louise call out
"No but whose cat is this? It's adorable!" I smiled still patting it under it's neck
Louise walked out of the kitchen to the loungeroom and looked at the cat in my arms and smiled
"Oh that's PantherLily, he's Gajeels cat...I wouldn't exactly call him adorable" she giggled
"Well I guess I wasn't wrong about Gajeel liking cats" I mumbled
"purrrr~" 
PantherLily slowly jumped out of my arms and to my bag and meowed a few times
"What is it?" I asked Lily, great now i'm talking to a cat
"Do you have any food in your bag?" Louise asked
"Uh yeah? Some chopped up Kiwi fruit. My Mum gave me a packed lunch yesterday because we couldn't afford to go to the cafeteria that day and i guess I didn't eat it"
"That cat has a fetish towards Kiwi fruit" Gajeels voice called out from upstairs
"I looked up and I saw Gajeel, his hair was dripping wet and he was shirtless. I felt my face grow hot so I looked away slightly
"Well I-I'm not going to eat it so I guess he could have it" I replied nervously
I reached into my bag and took out a container with the Kiwi fruit and instantly the cat jumped onto the couch and then to my shoulder
"Whoa!...Uh here" I said to Lily rather surprised, placing the container on the floor near my bag and again he jumped off my shoulder onto the floor and began to happily eat the Kiwi.
"I wish I had a cat" I giggled stroking Lily's back then getting my brush out of my bag "Oh and thanks again for letting me stay...are they still...umm...outside?"
Footsteps were heard on the stairs and I looked up to see Gajeel putting a shirt on whilst walking to the front door.

I couldn't help but notice his grey shirt sliding down those rock hard abs of his. I blushed again, reaslising I was staring but luckily he had his shirt on now and wasn't looking in my general direction. I sighed

"They aren't there but that does't mean they aren't in the neighborhood" Gajeel replied sternly
I nodded and placed the shoes Louise gave me near my bag getting a little glance by Lily. I sat on the couch and slowly started to brush my hair, catching a few knots every now and then. I suddenly heard a few whispers from behind me so I stopped brushing my hair mid way through a knot and glanced behind me for a quick second. Gajeel and Louise looked like to be in a heated conversation but it seemed very onesided.
'I should mind my own business' I thought to myself
I continued to brush my hair and this one knot was really bugging me
"Oi shrimp" I heard Gajeel call
I looked up and he was standing in front of me. When did he get there? 
"Oh Hi!" I chirped letting go of the brush to find it was stuck in my curls
I looked up at Gajeel who just stared down blankly at me and that's when he let out a laugh. I blushed he laughed?
"You look ridiculous" He commented
By ridiculous he must mean the brush stuck in my hair
"Perks of having curly hair" I replied sarcastically
"Well I don't have curly hair but my hair is longer than yours"
I giggled at that
"what?" he asked
"It's sad...the fact that you're hair is longer than mine and i'm a girl" 
"Shutup..." he paused "try imagining me with short hair" he suddenly grinned
I paused this time and thought about it.

(Imagine Edo Gajeel hehehe not that he isn't goodlooking but I prefer gajeel with long hair :3)
