Chapter 6

Skylar's POV
The weekend was coming to an end. Me and Marcus had to go in for a table read with the rest of the cast. We met them Sunday. They were really nice and welcoming. They could tell it was our first project. I actually think I made a best friend. Her name was Star. Everyone found it funny. The called us Star and Sky. We didn't argue. I found it cute.
"After the read you wanna come with us
to go get lunch? There is this awesome taco place..." "You had me at tacos" I said cutting her off. We head to the conference room where the table read was being held. I was walking with Marcus and Star. I then realized Marcus was holding my hand. I started to smile. "So are you two a thing?" Star asked me. "It's complicated." I replied. She looked confused. "What's complicated about it. He likes you. You obviously like him. Badda bing. You guys are a thing." I smiled. I really do like Marcus. And after last night I'm convinced he likes me. I stared at him. Smiling I could tell he was truly happy.
Marcus's POV
While walking to conference room where the table read Star had walked up and started to talk to Sky. I heard her ask if me and Sky were together. I began to smile. I considered us a thing but I could Sky didn't know whether we were or not. I notice her staring at me. I loved when she did. Her eyes were just so perfect you could lost in them with just a glance. When we finally got to the room. We met the rest of the cast. They were super cool. Not stuck up rich people the media made them out to be. The read only took about and hour so me and Sky went out to explore LA. "I have a special place I wanna take you" I told overwhelmed with excitement. "Okay but can we eat first? I'm starving." I smiled. "There will be food. C'mon. You will love it." At least I hope she will.
