Ch. 37

Previously-Sky went upstairs. Thinking about the envelope I went and got my backpack. I sat down at the counter and opened it. I pulled out the papers. No flippin way. The divorce papers were in the envelope.

Marcus's POV
No no no no! This can't be right. Why are they here. The girl said she was sending them. How did they even get in there. I was with my back the entire time. I kept thinking and thinking and then it hit me. No one else saw my bag except Me, Sky, and that Kelsey chick. Sky was upstairs and I was standing next to Kelsey. Could she be the crazy girl? Great way to end a night. I trotted upstairs. I opened our bedroom door and saw Sky on her phone. She was FaceTimimg Rashaad. "Well I'm glad your getting better. See ya later. Deuces!" Sky said. She hung up and walked over to me. "Hey what's wrong? You don't look to good." She said examining my face. I couldn't speak. I just showed her the envelope. "What's this?" She said. She sat on the edge of the bed and opened it. I just stared at the wall. As she looked though the papers she began to cry. "Kelsey." She said. I nodded. "I can't believe her!" Sky said yelling throwing the papers at the wall. I walked next to her and rubbed her back. "How are we gonna stop her?" I asked. "Honestly I say we call the cops and have her arrested. She threatened my family Marcus. You don't do that. Even if she's crazy she should know not to do that!" She said practically screaming. I guess she was scream because Lucas came in. "Dang girl. Don't you know how late it is?" He said rubbing his eyes. Once he saw us he frowned. "What's wrong?" I looked at Sky to see if it was okay to tell him. She shook her yes. After explaining everything to him, Lucas got quiet. "I'm sorry to bombard you with all of this crap. I shouldn't have involved you." Sky said. "No no it's okay. I wanna help. I can't let some crazy chick mess with my favorite sister." "I'm your sister-in-law." Sky said smirking. "Nope. Your my sister now." She hugged him and went downstairs to check on Brooklyn, Heaven, and Elie. When she closed the door Lucas gave me a look. "What?" I asked confused. "What are you gonna do?" "I don't know. I don't wanna leave Sky but I also don't want her to get hurt. I'm so confused." I said face palming myself. Lucas sat down next to me. "Whatever you decide I'll support bro. You know that right?" I nodded. He gave me a hug and walked out. "Why does life have to be complicated?" I asked myself. "It doesn't have to be." A voice said from the corner. I jumped up to see who it was. "Kelsey? How the hell did you get here?" "Doesn't matter. What matters is I'm here now. With you. And no Skylar." "So it was you?" I asked backing away from her. "Obviously. And I meant what I said on the phone. Sky isn't right for you. But me, I can give you everything you want and more." She said inching closer with every word. "First of all don't call her Sky, and secondly I don't need anything from you!" I said. She smirked. "I highly doubt that. Can she do this?" She pinned me against the wall and grabbed my junk. "What the hell are you doing get off of me! I don't want you!" I yelled. Sky, Lucas and Elie busted through door. "How the hell did you get in my house?!" Sky yelled. Kelsey rolled her eyes.m and turned to face Sky. "See that's your problem. Your always showing up when nobody asked you to. First when auditioning for that movie and now. You should just disappear." The Kelsey pulled out a hand gun. Everyone got scared except for Sky. "Your gonna shoot me b*tch? Then shoot me. I... dare... you." Sky said slowly. "Sky what the hell are you doing?! She's crazy! She will do it." I said. Kelsey smiled when I said that. "Then let her. But I will not be afraid of some jealous hoe who can't take no for an answer." Kelsey frowned again. "You know you really shouldn't talk about the girl holding the gun!" She yelled. Then we heard crying from downstairs. "Oh look the babies are up. Should we surprise them with a dead mother? He's not the one pulling the trigger. " Lucas said from behind me. She rolled her eyes. "Shut up! All of you! Sign the papers!" She yelled. "No." Sky said. "Sky..." I pleaded. "No Marcus. I'm not letting her win. Besides she won't do it." She taunted. "I won't?" Sky shook her head smiling. "Wow! And I thought I was crazy. I have to admit you got a pair. To bad no one will miss them." She aimed the gun and Sky's chest. Sky just stood there smiling. "Your really not gonna do anything to stop me?" Lesley asked. "Oh I would say that?" Just as Sky said that a bunch of police came rushing in as if on cue. "What the hell?" Kelsey said. She tried to jump toward the window but the cops grabbed her. She tried to resist but I was useless. The took her into custody. I was still in shock. I almost lost Skylar.
