Ch. 26

Skylar's POV
I woke up with urge to throw up. I ran into the bathroom and locked the door. I threw up for like 10 minutes straight. I hate the idea of vomit. It's so gross. Marcus knocked on the door. "Sky. You alright?" "Yes." I whimpered. I rinsed my mouth out so it wouldn't smell. I walked and laid down. "You don't look alright." He said frowning. "Neither do you. What's up?" I asked. He faced the wall. "We haven't been using protection." Oh snap. Suddenly the world just came crashing in. I couldn't be could I? "We don't know if that is what wrong with me." I said trying to reassure Marcus. And me. He sat down next to me. "Sky face it. We have made love more than a enough times. It was just a matter of time before this caught up to us." "Are you upset?" I asked. "Hell No! If anything I'm excited. I just didn't know how you would take it." He said really excited. "Honestly I don't know how I feel. I mean I am young but I have always wanted a child. It would kinda be like my mom. She had me when she was 16." "I've always thought your mom was young." I shook my head. "What should we do?" "Well we should find out for sure." I got changed, threw up again, changed again, and went to the drug store. I texted Star to let her know what was going on.
Sky🌌: I have news!
Star✨: spill girl!
Sky 🌌: I might be pregnant
Star✨: OMG! Does Marcus know?
Sky 🌌: yeah. He was actually excited.
Star✨: how do feel about it
Sky🌌: Idk. How should I feel?
Star✨: you should be happy
Sky 🌌: I mean I am but...
Star✨: but what?
Sky 🌌: how is my family gonna take it? How is his family gonna take?
Star✨: it doesn't matter. It's not their baby or babies?
Sky 🌌; OMG WHAT IF ITS MORE THAN ONE?!?!?
Star✨: relax. Your gonna be fine!
Sky 🌌: thanks fam. I'll talk more later.
Star✨: okay bye boo💋
Sky 🌌:💋😊

I made it to the drug store. Star had really made me feel better about my situation. I bought five tests. The cashier looked at me funny. "Can I help you?" I asked with an attitude. All she said was "mmm." I paid and left instantly. Who is she to judge me. Bet you she be working the corner after hours. (If you don't know what that means you don't to know). I went back home and took the test. I set my timer for 8 minutes. I paced back and forth. The ringer went off. I ran into the bathroom. I couldn't believe it. I'm gonna be a mom.

Marcus's POV
I was worried about Sky. She seemed worried about having a baby. I think she though she was letting me down. She is the type of person who likes to please other people. When she doesn't she feels like she has failed them. I went to the squad house to talk to Lucas. He always knew how to make me feel better. "Yo Lucas! You here bro?" "Nobody's here except Kade and Alex." I jumped to see Maggie on the couch. "Where is everyone?" "At the boardwalk. What do you need?" "Gotta talk to Lucas. Got something's on my mind." "Maybe I can help." She said sweetly. I looked surprised. Maggie hasn't given me advice since we dated. She gave good advice but I don't know how I feel about. "Nawww it's okay. Tell Lucas to call me when he gets back." She looked hurt when I said that. I could tell she was still trying become friends. I'm not angry at her anymore but it's still gonna take some time for us to become friends. "Ok will do. And Marcus..." "Yes?" "You know you can talk to me right? Even though we had a shady past, I'm always gonna be here for you." "Yeah I know. See ya," I said and walked out. She sounded really sincere. I got a text from Sky. The test positive. Wow. I'm gonna be a father. Never in a million years did I think that was gonna happened. But I never pictured Sky in my life.

Sky's POV
I text Marcus. He didn't reply. What does that mean. I waited for him in the living room. He walked in. "Look Marcus is so sorry! We show have..." he cut me off with a kiss. I was majorly confused. "Don't apologize for making me happy. You should be sorry about that." He said between the kiss. He pulled away and stared at me. "I thought you would be upset." "Like I told you before. I am excited about this. Even more now that I'm gonna marrying you." I completely forgot. We were getting married in July. The day before my birthday. It was Marcus's idea not mine. I wanted to be in august but he insisted. And it's very hard to argue with someone while making out in the shower. Yep that happened. We sat on the couch talking about everything. "What name are we gonna choose?" He asked. "I don't know. I guess it depends on the gender." I was more excited now. Seeing how Marcus was reacting made me feel better about it. Then a thought popped up. I gotta tell my parents. "Have you told Lucas?" I asked. "No. I went to go talk for o him but they weren't home." Oh. Just then I got a text from my dad.
Daddy👨‍👧: Hey hun. I want you and Marcus to come over for dinner this weekend. Ask him to invite his family. I want to meet them one-on-one.
Well that just made things easier.
Sky 🌌: okay. That's perfect. I actually have some news so that will be perfect.
Daddy👨‍👧: okay, I can't wait. See you later. Love you 😘
Sky 🌌: Bye Daddy😘
"What was that about?" Marcus asked looking at me. "My dad invited us to dinner this weekend. He wants you to invite your family." He smiled. "Why are you so smiley?" "Because I'm marrying next year, and I'll also be a dad next year!" He pulled me on top of him and started tickling me. He stopped and stared into my eyes. "Your gonna be a fabulous mom." He said. "Well your gonna be the most awesome dad." I went to kiss his cheek but he turned his head. I kissed his lips passionately. He grabbed my thigh. I pulled away. "You know this is how we got pregnant in the first place?" I said smirking. "Yep. I I wouldn't mind doing again." He said with a big grin on his face. "Yeah... no. I'm tired. Plus I'm not feeling all that sexy anyway." "Pretty please!" He said kissing my neck. "Nope." I said popping the 'p'. I got up but he pulled me down. "Does that include cuddling?" "No," I said. He wrapped in his arms. I always felt so safe when I'm with him. We stayed like that for hours just talking. No tv. No making out. Just talking. You rarely meet a guy who will just sit and talk to you. And not just talk but listen. I knew I made the right choice saying yes when he asked me out.

~Flashback~
My dream just came true. They actually said the words 'you got the part' I was excited but then I was in the air. Marcus had picked me up and spun me around. "Marcusss... put... meeee.... dowwwn...!" "Oh I'm so sorry, I get excited easily." "I can tell." I said trying to fall over. "We should celebrate. In my mind I had a big debate. Was he asking me out. Should I go. You know I'm those movies when someone has a problem and they have and angel and a demon pop up on their shoulder. In my head that had happened. "Say yes say yes!" The angel said. "Said no! Ruin his dreams. Break his heart!" Then Marcus snapped me out of it. "Uhhh... sure let me go home and change first."
~end of flashback ~
I smiled at the memory. That moment started the rest of my life.

Marcus's POV
Sky started smiling. I wondered what she was thinking about. "You remember the day we officially met?" "You mean the day you bumped into me?" "Techs ically we bumped into each other!" "How could I forget?" "What if that never happened?" I thought quietly to myself. What if I never went for that audition. I only went because Lucas kept pushing me to do it.

~Flashback~
"Lucas I don't want to!" I said screaming my annoying twin. "You obviously do because you flipped when I said I was gonna do it!" "Okay and? You were only saying that to prove a point!" "And my point has been proven!" "If it will make shut up I will go!" "Thank you. Have fun." I can't believe Lucas. I walked there to calm myself down. I was studying lines even though I already knew them. Lucas had some truth behind what he said. Yes I did want to go and I did study the lines but I was to afraid to actually go. While I was walking something bumped into me. It was a girl. "I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going!" She was really pretty. She left me almost speechless. "It's okay. I wasn't either. Studying for an audition." She was blushing. "Oh well good luck and sorry again." She then ran off. I almost forgot what I was doing. I could erased her freckled face from my memory. I wanted to see her again. I went into the audition and they said I did an amazing job. The lady judge informed me there was a chemistry read with the female lead. I kinda didn't wanna go. Some actresses get on my nerves. But I then thought about that girl. A giant smile ran across my face. I walked home and Lucas was outside dancing. "How are you gonna dance without your twin?" I asked playing hurt. "He was business. How did it go?" "They told me I have a chemistry read on Thursday. But that's not even the best part. I bumped into this girl. She was so cute. I can't stop think about her!" "Oooo somebody is sprung!" "Your such a douche!" But maybe he was right I could stop think about her. Thursday finally came. I trudged around the house getting read. I really didn't want to go but in the words of Jake Paul 'you gotta want it!' I walked to the building. I opened the door and a blast of cool air hit me. Should have brought a jacket I thought to myself. I checked in with the secretary and heard rustling behind me. I turned around and saw the girl from yesterday. I couldn't believe it. "Hi" "hello" she said. She started blushing. Her cheeks were the prettiest shade of red. We were talking for what seemed like forever. Then the intercom came on. I can't believe I'm doing this read for her. She looked nervous. Maybe she didn't like me. We went back there and did the scene. She was a fantastic actress. No wonder why she got this far. The judges congratulated us. We had got the part. Not remember I had just met her, I picked her up and spun her around. She asked me to stop and I did. I apologized for my rash behavior. "We should celebrate!". She looked deep in thought. Yes I tried asking her out. You would've done the same thing if you saw her. "Sure but let me go home and change." Omg she said yes! I'm freaking out. She gave me her address. Her hand touched mine. Fireworks went off  and I didn't even kiss her. I loved everything about this girl and I barely even knew her.
~end~
"Then I would find away to meet you," I said replying to her question. She sat up and smiled. "How?" "I don't know, but I would." She kissed my but then suddenly pulled back. She got up and ran into the bathroom. I'm not a big fan of barf so I covered my ears. I understood why but it was still gross. She was gone for about twenty minutes. I went to go check on her. I opened the door and smear her looking at her scar from the bullet wound. "What if whoever did this comes after our child!" She said with her voice trembling. I grabbed her hands and took them away from the scar. "I wouldn't let that happen." She smiled. She placed her cheek in my hand. We went back to the living room and watched a Power Rangers marathon. Yes we are nerds. I don't care what anybody else says. Power rangers are awesome.
