I had three more days and then it would be my NHL debut. I also had three more days until the guys and Gabe got back from their two week road trip. The house was always eerily quiet no matter how loud I blasted the music, and working out didn't satisfy the sudden need to be physical. I had grown the want to be pressed against a wall and held against my will over the past three weeks of living here, the only problem was that there was always someone around.

I groaned frustrated as I flipped back onto my stomach, pounding my pillow into a new shape and curling into a ball. Then I did the same thing again a few minutes later, finally giving up and ripping my cellphone off the bedside table and typing a new message.

Me
-when do you get home?

Gabe POV

This road trip was boring as hell, Raiyne had to sort the final things out and wasn't allowed to tag along. Plus she has been living in the team house for the past three weeks and all it has seem to done is fuel the need to have her near me all the time. The only difficulty was that everyone was always around.

"Gabe, what's got you thinking so hard?" Tyson laughed.

"Nothing man, just tired." I replied, running a hand through my already messy hair, my phone buzzing in my pocket.

Raiyne ;)
-when do you get home?

I raised my brows at the sudden message and then typed back a quick reply.

Me
-shouldn't you be asleep?

Within seconds her reply came back.

Raiyne ;)
-yeah but the thing is, I can't because my brain won't turn off and my body is in overdrive.

"What are you smirking at?" Matt laughed, reaching for the phone.

"Get outta here Duchene." I replied, glaring at him before typing again.

Me
-wanna talk about it?

Raiyne ;)
-there isn't much you can do when you're in a different city.

My heart suddenly pounded in my chest and I pushed myself back from the table, dialling her number as I walked through the lobby of the hotel.

"Hello?" Raiyne mumbled, I could tell she was half asleep and I laughed to myself a bit.

"Good morning sleepy head." I smirked.

"It's like 2 am Gabriel, and I haven't slept at all." She suddenly growled and a knot formed in my stomach.

"What's got you so twisted?"

"The fact that you're always so close, but if I try and do anything someone always shows up." She stated, the strain in her voice clear.

"I'm back home in two days." I reminded her.

"But so is everyone else." Raiyne laughed.

Once again I ran my hand through my hair and sat on the bench I had walked to.

"You're gonna rip your hair out babe."

"How did you even know?" I laughed.

"You sighed and then you were silent, I guessed."

Her voice went from hard to soft and I wanted her with me, to have her lips on mine, my body against hers.

"Fuck Raiyne I want you so bad." I groaned, and I could practically feel her hand grip the phone.

"Don't say that." She whispered.

"Why not babe." I smirked my voice raspy as I spoke.

"Gabriel Landeskog that isn't very nice." She growled, her voice holding an intensity I didn't think was possible.
