Gabe POV

I checked everywhere, then finally wound up at her house, banging the door over and over again.

"I didn't actuall-" She began and I pressed her to the wall behind the door, pressing my lips to hers, slamming the door behind me

Her hands slipped up my shoulders and through my hair, turning into fists as she pulled me closer. I wanted her, every inch of her, I wanted to know what it would feel like to have her body moving with mine, all her scars and imperfections, I wanted to know it all.

My hands slipped up her bare legs, then under her shirt, slowly as they brushed her skin softly, catching Raiyne off guard as her hands grabbed my wrists through the material.

"Gabriel." She whispered hoarsely, breathless.

"Baby." I whispered, brushing the tip of my nose along her collarbone earning the reaction I knew would happen.

"Stop." She whimpered, her shoulders starting to shake. "You really don't wanna do this."

I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to my body, brushing my lips over her forehead.

"Raiyne." I whispered.

"No, you can't do that!" She stated, pounding on my chest. "You can't be so nice and perfect and rough and sexy all the time it's not fair!"

"You think I'm sexy?" I smirked.

"Don't be an ass." Raiyne started to laugh.

"Rough? That's different." I smirked, pressing a hand to her stomach and pushing her back into the wall.

"You're such an idiot." She finally started to laugh. "Is there a reason you assaulted me?"

"Clearly I didn't do it right, want me to try again?" I asked, smirking.

Raiyne shook her head and swiped a thumb along my jaw line, "You need a hair cut."

I ran a hand through my shaggy hair and dipped my face towards hers again, brushing my chin along her collarbone.

"What, you don't like it?"

"Ouch! That hurts and tickles!" Raiyne exclaimed, jumping away and running towards the living room.

I laughed and wrapped my arms around her waist, sitting down and pulling her on top of me.

"Can I tell you something?" I asked her, playing with the bottom of her shirt.

"Hmm?" She asked, slipping to sit beside me.

"I never stopped loving you Raiyne. I always wanted you. I miss how you would laugh at little things, your crooked smile, how you wear my clothes, how your beautiful without all the make up, the pillow fights, and play wrestling. How you're so easy going and pissed off at the same time, I miss just being with you. I don't care if we aren't talking, if it's completely silent with your head on my chest, I just love being near you, and it killed me to watch you drive away." I explained, trailing my fingertips up and down her smooth skin, and then glanced at her.

Raiyne looked torn, like something was ripping her apart inside as her eyes turned dark and then she had her arms wrapped around my neck.

"Gabe, it was the hardest thing I had ever done in my life." She sobbed. "I had never seen someone look so crushed, I thought I was protecting myself, and you but I only hurt both of us. You don't understand how sorry I am, and I would never do it again. I would do anything for you, you're the only one I know that has always been there for me, even when my family wasn't."

I pushed her shoulders back slightly and looked at her, wiping tears from her cheeks.

"Raiyne I am so in love with you it hurts." I whispered, sending her into more sobs.

"I love you too." She choked out, finally managing a small smile. "I'm such a baby."

"A cute baby." I laughed.

She punched my shoulder and shook her head, moving to stand.

"No way, you're not going anywhere." I told her, pulling her back down into me, then rolling so I hovered above her.

"Possessive." She smirked.

"You know it." I taunted, pecking her nose.

"Loser." She laughed.

"Goof."

"Idiot."

"Moron."

"Captain."

"Superstar."

By now she was in all out giggles, and my hands had moved up her sides.

"My goof though." She smiled, pecking my lips lightly.

"No one else's." I assured her, kissing her a little harder.

Her hands drifted up my arms then around my neck, pulling me down to her.

"I missed you." She whispered.

"Trust me, I missed you too."

I laid beside her and wrapped a protective arm around her waist, pulling her into my body and pecking her forehead, then shoulder, palm, collarbone until her breathing turned even and her hand tightened on mine.

--

"Oh!" I heard Raiyne exclaim, jumping back.

I sat up groggily, rubbing my eyes, "What, are you ok?"

"Yeah uh, you might not be." She laughed, raising a brow and moving to go to the kitchen. "Shower is upstairs."

I groaned, a cursed myself as I made my way up the stairs, turning the shower on cold and slipping in, shivering the whole time.

"Fuck, Raiyne where are your towels!?" I yelled, searching cupboards.

I could hear her laugh and then knock on the door, her arm appearing with a towel in her hand.

"Hurry up and take it my arm hurts." She laughed.

"Come in here and I'll take it." I taunted.

She pushed the door open and stared at my shoulder, then my eyes and held out the towel, "Take it."

"Are you gonna be ok?"

"Once you put on the fucking towel." She smiled sweetly, tossing it at me and spinning for the door.

"Wimp."

"Damn Swedish god." She mumbled, closing the door behind her.

--

I wrapped my arms around Raiyne's waist and rested my chin on her shoulder.

"Are you always gonna be like this?" She asked.

"Like what?" I asked.

"Cuddly and cute." She laughed

"Aren't I already?" I teased.

"Only when we are alone." She mumbled.

"I won't let you out of my sight." I laughed, spinning her in a circle and pecking her lips.

"Eat your breakfast." Raiyne smiled.

I grabbed the plate and she shook her head, jogging towards the stairs.

"So you're gonna leave me here!?" I yelled up at her.

"I already ate, I'm just getting dressed!" She yelled back.

I ate quickly and then climbed the stairs, Raiyne was dancing and singing around, trying to find a shirt as I grabbed her hand and spun her in a circle. Then pulled her into my chest, spinning us around the room, Raiyne laughed and pulled me down the stairs.

"Come on goof, we've got practise."

--

"Raiyneeee tie my skateeessss!" Matt whined.

"You've got two hands." She laughed, smacking him as she passed.

"Why you gotta be so mean?" He asked.

"Cause I can." Raiyne replied, "And Erik left me alone last night, dammit bro."

"Sorry, I had the impression someone was gonna kick my ass."

"I had the impression I was gonna get my ass kicked." She mumbled

I walked past her and kicked her butt, "There ya go." I teased.

"Fight me Landy." Raiyne laughed.

I tossed a punch at her shoulder and she dodged it neatly, swiping my feet from under me.

"Boom!" She laughed.

I grabbed an ankle and then pinned her under my body, her blue eyes daring.

"You weigh a ton." She huffed.

"Just cause you're tiny." I laughed, standing and holding out my hand.

She reached for it and then caught my hip with her foot and tossed me over her shoulder so I fell onto my back as she stood.

"That's what you get." Raiyne smiled, then checked her phone. "I have to go. Give me your keys, now."

Her face had turned pale and her hand had already slipped into my pocket, yanking the keys free.

"Raiyne what's wrong?" Erik asked, catching her wrist.

"It's Carmin, let go." She growled, shoving him hard and sprinting down the hall.

"Shit." Matt stated, grabbing his keys as well, running after her.
