"So, the dorky girl you had a crush on in high school, but your asshat of a brother never let you date." Clarke said and I nodded. She was in my brother's year at school and hung out with him a lot. There were rumors they'd done more than just hang out and I knew that those were partially true.

"Yeah, but she's still hot. She's got this kinda dorky nervous thing going for her as well as looks." I said and Clarke smiled at me. "I don't know why I listened to Bellamy in high school, I should've went out with her and then I wouldn't have spent so long wondering."

"Well, we probably wouldn't have gotten close and you wouldn't have met Lexa." Clarke said and you let her finish your eyeliner before getting dressed. "You think you'll get lucky?"

"Clarke there are things to the world other than sex." I said and she kissed my cheek and slid her hand up my blouse. "Are you listening?"

"Yeah, but Octavia you've been wanting this since like 8th grade." Clarke said and I nodded. "Now, go and get your girl. I'll probably see you in a couple of days and you're telling me everything!"

"Love you Clarke." I said and she hugged me before letting me go. I drove to the address Raven asked me to meet her at and my jaw hit the floor when I saw it. It made my pretty nice 2 bedroom apartment look like shit. I knocked on the door and Raven had opened it almost immediately.

"You're on time." Raven said and I nodded. "I didn't mean to offend you if I did, it's just that like I didn't expect you to show. I guess your brother left an impression."

"What do you mean?" I asked knowing Bellamy did something and I'd have to beat the shit out of him at some point.

"He said if you ever did say yes, I shouldn't expect you to actually show." Raven said and I scoffed. "I mean, I'm sure he was nice to some people, but I kinda hate him."

"Trust me, he's not the greatest guy." I said and we ended up watching a movie in her home theater and she ordered pizza. She got us a couple of drinks and we sat talking about what we'd done after high school.

She went to a tech school and graduated top of her class, then started her own tech company with a friend. It went big and now she only has to work a couple of days a week. I was honestly impressed and she's come a long way from the girl who just sat there alone at lunch occasionally glancing at my table.

"What about you?" Raven asked and I shrugged. "Come on, surely you did something after highschool."

"Well, I had a falling out with my parents, which Bellamy caused by outing me. I dropped out of college and to keep rent up, I started to sell myself." I said remembering the day I saw Clarke in that tight dress and how it felt to have her on me. "Clarke found me and eventually I met Lexa and she helped me make my "empire" and stuff."

We talked and drank for a long time and pretty soon I wondered if she expected me to put out. I wouldn't hate it, but I hoped she'd see me as more than a free fuck. I was snapped out of my train of thought when I heard a knock on the door.

"Clarke's here." Raven said and Clarke drove me home. Sure I didn't get lucky, but I sure as hell was happy about the fact I might get another date with the one that had slipped my grasp like 6 years ago.
