You slowly made your way closer and closer to Raven. She was angry. That'd been happening lately, especially when the stress was high. You knew for a fact that your news wouldn't make her happy. The entire discussion of somebody important to her dying didn't exactly make her day better.

"Raven." You said leaning agaist her table. You had a tendency to do that when you gave people bad news. You'd been told that initially by Echo during your brief relationship. Raven hadn't mentioned it, but she was aware, as was Octavia and Clarke, both of which you'd been the bearer of bad news to.

"You don't look happy." Raven said and you looked at her sadly. "What were you talking with Clarke about?"

"I'm going out." You said and Raven looked at you. "I can fix things and maybe, if I'm lucky, can get back here."

"It's impossible for you to get back in time." Raven said and you gave her a look.

"Well, I'm an impossible person." You said smiling. "I wanted to make sure you knew."

"Yeah, well, I don't want to anymore." Raven said and you looked at her, tears brimming your eyes. "I don't have to know everything."

"Yeah, but you need to know this." You said and she sniffled. "You need to know that I love you, even when you're an ass or decide to use terms I won't understand to make me feel stupid."

"I don't." Raven argued and you gave her a look. "I love you too."

"Hey, just because it looks difficult, doesn't mean I won't come back." You said giggling.

"Y/n's sacrifice is the reason you're all here." Raven said looking at the group of Skaikru making fun of you. "She's the reason any of us are even alive. She learned everything you failed to in weeks, something I doubt any of you could muster. I'd much rather have her by my side than any of you, because at least I know she can do something."

"Glad to know you think of me that way." You said and Raven turned and looked at you. Your arm was in a sling, you had a crutch, and a few cracked bones here and there, but nothing that wouldn't eventually heal. "I, uh, made it."

"Yeah, I see you did." Raven said hugging you tightly. You groaned and she let go. "How?"

"I had something to come back to." You said and Raven blushed, looking down. "For a bit, I didn't. I was commanded to come back."

"I'm glad you did." Raven said kissing you.
