Baby (Lexa High School AU)

You looked around the classroom and signed, knowing that you wouldn't be able to leave as long as tests were out. Why you had taken Clarke's mother's class on medical school when you were looking at law schools was beyond you, but it wasn't the worst decision you'd managed to make in your lifetime.

"Y/n." Bellamy said nudging you. "I hear Lexa broke up with her girlfriend. How about we both go in for the kill?"

"Bellamy no." You said before punching him in the arm. Clarke was one of your closest friends and you wouldn't betray her like that. Especially since Clarke and Lexa were the school's it couple. "Besides, Lexa and I wouldn't work, especially not since she'd be downgrading from Clarke."

"I'd disagree, but I wouldn't be able to win." Bellamy said and Clarke moved back to sit next to you. "Hello Clarke, how are you today?"

"Eh." Clarke said before turning to you. "So, are you going after Lexa?"

"Um, what?" You asked and Clarke looked at you and smiled.

"You obviously like her, so don't be a baby and go get her." Clarke said and you shrugged. "Come on, I'll be fine, plenty of people here to explore. I might even ask out Octavia or Raven. I'm sure they're up for including me."

"I guess I will." You said and as you walked to gym class you noticed Lexa in the corner, changing. Once she had her gym clothes on, you approaches her. "Um, can I, um, ask you something?"

"Go ahead." Lexa said and you tried to find the right words for her.

"Do you wanna go on a date with me?" You asked and Lexa nodded. "I get it. You're not over Clarke, she's the one for you. She just told me to stop being a baby and do it already. I guess I jumped the gun and I'll just go."

"Y/n, I said yes." Lexa said and you looked up. "Also I think the fact you were too much of a baby to ask me out a year ago us cute."

"You've known I like you for a year?" You asked and she nodded, putting an arm around you. "Well damn."
