You were certain of one thing and that you were going to be dead soon. You looked at Octavia and left, not leaving a trail for her to follow. You were sick, seeing her would only make you miss her more. Besides her safety was more important to you than any cure that anybody had to offer, especially if it meant you betrayed her.

"Goodbye." You rasped out before disappearing into the woods. You could have saved yourself, but you would have sold yourself which wasn't worth it. You had a cause and you'd stick to it, even if it killed you. You closed your eyes and felt yourself drift off, happy that you were alone.

Everything for you was good, until you were jerked awake. You smelled a familiar stench and knew that you had a debt to pay and you wouldn't get out of it no matter what. Your life had been saved and it was a custom of your tribe to always pay any debts. It was the only way to get the good after death, the only way for you to see Octavia once you were gone.

You put on the armor of these warriors for hire and learned to live with them. Each thought full of wonder about Octavia's safety. You had hoped once you were gone, she'd be safer that she'd learn to love and have a happier time with someone else. It wasn't until your final battle that you saw her again.

She was fighting against you which held a sick sense of deja vu for you. This time it didn't end with a friendly surrender. This time it ended with her standing over your dead body, a gun pointed at you. A small prayer, was mumbled before your death, a promise of seeing her again. When she pulled the trigger, the bullet went through your head and loosened your helmet enough for it to fall when she bumped your body.

There was a look of horror on her face as she realized what she'd done to the one she loved. When you saw her again, it was in your good place, but you soon realized it wasn't under good circumstances as you noticed a similar bullet hole in her own head, meaning she'd either done it to herself, or someone else had gotten to her. She was not as safe as you'd hoped, but now she was safe with you, until your next lives when you would hopefully see her again.

Author's Note: Well, this book is finished. Maybe I'll write another one later, but for now, it's time to work on some of my other stories and perhaps even start a new one. Thanks for reading and voting on this.
