Taehyung and I have been together throughout high school. Our love has been growing and staying strong ever since. Sometimes we argue over silly things but we always make up.

We took the exams and at the end, we ended up in separate colleges.

"I tried my best though," Taehyung said.

"It's okay cool guy, we can still be with each other outside of school," I said.

"But I wanted to be with you too," he pouted.

"Awww cutie, we live next to each other so it'll be okay," I said, giving him a back hug.

"Promise me you won't find a new man," he said, turning his head to face me.

"Promise," I said.

We pinky promised and he grabbed me, twirling me around.

It was the first day in class. I honestly wanted Taehyung with me. Being in a big group of people intimidate me. The teacher came in and introduced himself.

"Good morning everyone. I will be your teacher for this math course. It's a vigorous course and can get challenging so do come for help if needed. Now turn to a partner and get started on the worksheet I handed out. You'll be working with this person throughout the course so choose wisely," he said.

I was sitting alone at the edge of the row until suddenly a guy came and sat down next to me.

"Hey, I'm Im Jae Bum. Would you like to be my partner?" he asked.

"Oh hello I'm Jung Y/N. Sure, that would be nice," I said.

I didn't really want to stand up and find someone else when he came to me.

"I'm a second year here, what about you?" he asked.

"I'm a first year," I replied.

"Wow then you must be really smart. This teacher is known for his hard classes," Jae Bum said.

"Ah really? I didn't know when I signed up," I said, freaking out a bit.

"It's okay. With me as your partner, you'll do great," he said.

"Confidence or conceited?" I asked teasingly.

"Confidence. I'm actually good at math," he said smiling.

"Okay. Guess I got myself a good partner then," I said.

The class finished and we went our separate ways. Taehyung texted me about his first class.

I miss my girlfriend. Her name is Y/N, have you seen her?

I smiled at his silliness.

I miss my boyfriend Taehyung too but you wouldn't know him because I'm sure he's concentrating in class instead of texting me.

I pressed sent and waited.

Araso. I'll pay attention sniff sniff. But I deserve a kiss later.

I smiled at my phone and continued the rest of my day. I drove back home and saw Taehyung waiting outside the front gate. We sat in my living room and talked about our first day.

"So I met a new guy. He's my sunbae is math class," I said.

"Is he cool looking?" asked Taehyung.

"I didn't pay attention to that," I replied.

"Lies," he said.

"Ok ok he was," I confessed.

Taehyung squinted his eyes and leaned in.

"Give me my kiss now," he said in a deep memorizing voice.

I leaned in and kissed him. He gave me a smirk, satisfied.

"So how about you? Any new friends?" I asked.

"No I just wanted to come home to you," he said slyly.

"Hajima. I missed seeing you at school too," I pouted.

We spent the day together, doing homework and messing around.

The next few days consisted of the same routine.

"Hey Jae Bum sunbae-nim, I don't understand this," I said.

"Y/N-ah, I told you not to call me that," he said.

"Too bad. Help me on this," I said.

"Not until you call me oppa," he said.

It's not like it'll hurt anyone if I called him that but Taehyung wouldn't like it.

"It's just formalities," Jae Bum said.

"Fine. Jae Bum oppa, help me," I said.

"Good job," he said as he ruffled my hair.

He started explaining the process and steps.

"Let's exchange numbers. In case you need help with anything else. It'll be easier," he said.

"Okay sounds good," I said, giving him my phone to put his number in.

"Oh, is this your boyfriend?" he asked as he returned my phone.

"Yes. Isn't he adorable?" I asked.

I had our picture as my screen saver.

"He's a lucky man," Jae Bum said.

"I'll see you tomorrow," I said, waving goodbye.

The days went by faster than I imagined. Soon it was exam day.

"Are you free tomorrow?" asked Jae Bum.

"Maybe why?"

"So I can tutor you before the exam," he said.

"Really? You would tutor me?" I asked surprised.

"Of course. Can't have my partner failing now," he said.

"Then I'll clear my schedule. I really need the extra help," I said.

"Where would you like to meet up?" he asked.

I thought about it.

"At a coffee shop would be good," I said.

"Okay I'll text you later for the details," he said and went ahead.

I went home and instead of hanging out with Taehyung I wanted to sleep. I texted him saying I was tired and he understood. A few hours later, I woke up from my nap because of a phone call.

"Hello?"

"Hey Y/N, this is Jae Bum. Can I ask you to meet me at the cafe right now?"

"Um why?" I asked, looking at the time.

"Please."

He sounded like he had been crying.

"I'm coming," I said.

I made my way to the place and saw Jae Bum sitting on the curb with his head down. I bent down in front of him.

"What's wrong?" I asked, truly concerned.

He didn't answer. Instead, he pulled me in for a hug.

"Please just let me use your shoulders, please," he said, sniffling.

I stayed there, letting him cry until he was satisfied.

Taehyung's P.O.V.
I was out buying snacks to go and surprise Y/N when I wake her up from her nap. I walked out of the convenient store and looked up. There was a couple sitting on the curb across the street. He was holding her with his head on her shoulders. They make me miss my Y/N. I was about to look away and walk to her house but the girl suddenly moved and sat next to him. Even without much light, I could tell that she was Y/N. I was mad, upset and confused all at once. That must be Jae Bum. I walked home quietly and waited for her to return.
