I didn't know where I was. I didn't know where I was going, but I was glad to finally be out of that hell hole, Antigen.
Before I escaped, I freed my mother, who is a vampire, has no idea I was born. She was held in an ice box for 16 years.
She was held captive along with my father, who I didn't get to free or meet. He was a hybrid from what I have overheard from the lab workers at Antigen.
I heard growls so I ran to the nearest building, taking cover in a hidden hallway. I cowered in the corner, hoping the growls would go away.
A few moments later, I heard gun shots and I panicked. Did they find me? Are they going to take me back to Antigen and kill me? Those were thoughts that ran in my head.
Soon, two people appeared in front of me, but no words were exchanged. A beautiful woman stood along with the most perfect guy I have ever seen, but I wasn't letting my guard down.
"Do you know her?" The man asked in a voice soft yet manly. His eyes were an electric blue. Vampire.
The vampire woman stared at me with curiosity, "No, but we can't leave her here. Let's go, more lycans will be coming, David."
The man, David, started towards me and I shook harder in fear. His eyes softened and said, "It's okay. I promise I won't hurt you."
For some weird reason, I trusted him. I nodded in response and he sweaped me up into his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face into his chest as they used their speed.
They placed me in the back of the van and the woman drove off with David in the passenger seat.
"What's your name," the woman asked and I said, "Eve." She drove and said, "How come I could see what you do?"
I shrugged, "You're my mother. I freed you from Antigen. I could feel you, but not see you."
She gasped, but the questions were cut off when three lycans attacked the van. I screamed when one bursted the roof and landed in front of me.
I saw the two look at me in worry but something in me changed when the lycan bit into my neck.
I screamed in pain, but an instinct took over and I felt myself shift into what I call my 'monster faze.'
I growled and forced the beast off me, gripping onto its head and teared it down the middle. I fell back against the door as my face shifted back and I groaned in pain.
We arrived at a hidden cave and David carried me to the coven house. It was creepy, being in a room full of vampires.
He placed me on a table and ordered for a woman. "You disobeyed my orders and brought them here? A freak and a traitor?" A man said rudely towards David.
"Father, not now," David said as he tried to soothe my pain. My mother glared at him, "Leave her out of it. If you harm her, I will-"
"I'm here," a woman said, running up to us. My mother tensed as she got closer but I kept my eyes on David.
She opened a box that had tools, but I noticed her fangs. She smiled at me kindly and took a few things of blood.
"She has vampire blood in her, but she isn't healing," she looked at me, "when was the last time you fed?"
"Feed?" I asked weakly. What was that? "She needs blood," the man stated rudely. David sliced his wrist and held it to my mouth, but I didn't drink.
"Child you must," the woman said, but I looked at my mother for approval. She nodded and I placed my lips on David's wrist, drinking from him.
His blood was delicious and I felt my eyes shift as I drank blood. He took his wrist away and the woman said, "My lord she's healing so quickly."
"Look at the eyes," the man said in disgust.

I fazed back and kept my eyes on David, who was looking at me in awe. He placed a hand on my cheek and hissed at the woman who was about to take more of my blood.
"I know what Eve is. She is the last direct descendant of Alexander Corvinus. My mate, her father, was a hybrid. She is the first ever born hybrid," my mother stated proudly.
I sat up and David wrapped an arm around me protectively. The vampires all looked at me in disgust and I wasn't having that.
I stood up and said, "Yes I am not a normal vampire. Yes I have lycan blood in me, but STOP staring at me like some sort of freak."_
David POV
I didn't know why I was so protective of her. She just was so beautiful. Blue eyes, long black hair, heart shaped face. She was a hybrid.
Right now, she was laying on my bed as I cleaned my knives. "David?"
I looked over at her and she asked, "Where's my mother?"
"Selene is looking for more answers on hybrids in the library," I said, my full attention on her.
She stood up and walked over to me and I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was.
5'3, lovely curves, and a graceful walk. She sat next to me and said, "Why do I feel most safe with you?"
That shocked me, but truth be told, I was protective of her and I have never felt this in my 200 years.
"I don't know Eve," I held her hand and felt a tingling sensation causing me to smile at her. She smiled at me back and a knock on the door startled us.
"We need to go," Selene's frantic voice said from the other side and I quickly threw my blanket over Eve and swept her up in my arms.
We blurred up to the entrance and hopped into my car. I threw the keys to Selene as I sat in the back with Eve.
I held her to me, "What happened?" She drove off fast and said, "I heard Thomas talking to the leader of Antigen. He was going to hand over Eve for exchange of non aggression for life."
Eve gasped and I saw red. My father was going to hand over my Eve. Wait. She's not mine.
