Eve POV

I ran as fast as I could, which was super fast since I never got out much at Antigen. I jumped onto a redwood tree and climbed all the way up, never looking down.

I got to the top and sat down, loving the view. It was sunrise, my first ever from outside. I smiled and watched as the sun rose.

I woken up very early and decided to go for a run. After the sun was up, I jumped off the 350 ft tree, landing gracefully on my feet.

I walked away and smelt blood near by. My fangs were rumbling, threatening to get out. I hadn't had blood in a while, so now was a good time to get some.

I felt curious when I saw a man walking alone in the woods, he looked like he was searching for someone.

"Lost?" I asked, walking up to him. He smiled at me, "I am. I am looking for my daughter, Maria. She's 7 years old."

I felt bad. I was thinking of drinking him, but he had a daughter. I smiled and said, "I'll help you."

I sniffed the air and let my senses take over. She was close by, climbing rocks. I ran, at human place, and yelled for him to follow.

I saw her and she looked like she was holding on for her life, "Help me!" I ran under her and held out my arms.

"Its okay. Let go, I'll catch you," I promised to her and the poor thing looked scared for her life. She closed her eyes and let go.

I caught her gently and handed her to her dad. He thanked me and I showed him the way to his car.

I skipped back into the forest but was thrown back. I landed on my back and growled, leaping into a defensive crouch.

I sensed someone running at me so I kicked the person in the jaw. Of course it was David. I smirked as he rubbed his jaw in pain.

"Shouldn't sneak up on a hybrid," I teased, pretending to dust off my hands. He narrowed his eyes at me, "You handle sneak attacks well baby. I'm proud."

I smiled at that. He was proud of me, I ran at him and jumped onto him. He laughed and held me to him.

I kissed him and he hugged me tighter, licking my bottom lip for an entrance. I granted it and our tongues fought.

We pulled away after a bit, he leaned his forehead on mine. "I love you."

I widened my eyes. It was the first time he's ever said that. Did I love him back? Hell yes.

I smiled wide, "I love you too." He kissed me passionately and I couldn't help it. I pinned him to the forest ground with my extra strength.

Clothes quickly left and all that mattered in that moment was me and my David. I loved him so much and I never wanted him to leave my side.
