Eve POV

I walked towards the ledge, looking down at the frozen water below. Where were my parents? I looked at my phone.

They told me to be here half an hour ago. I sat down by the ledge. I chewed my bubble gum. I sensed someone running towards me and turned just in time to be pushed off the ledge.

"AH!" I screamed before my hybrid instincts kicked in and I flipped backwards, landing on my feet. I phased and was tackled to the ground.

"Ever been drowned by a vampire?" Lena laughed evilly. I head butted her and flipped us.

"You tell me. Ever been bitten by a hybrid?" I bit into her arm and she screamed in pain. I got off and she cried, holding onto her arm in pain.

"Don't you EVER attack a hybrid," I pressed my foot on her wound, "That was a warning. Let's see how that bite affects you."

I turned around and used my speed to run up the ice wall. I got over the ledge and ran inside. I got in and walked to the training room.

"Hey dad," I said from the doorway. He turned his attention to me while he watched my mom practice.

"What's up?"

"Just out of curiosity. What can a hybrid bite to do say a vampire or lycan?"

"Kill them slowly from the inside out why?" I froze. "Eve..please don't tell me you bit someone."

I smiled sweetly while wincing a bit. "In my defense she attacked me!"

"Lena tried to hurt you again?!" David hissed as he came from the doorway. I nodded, "Someone told me my parents wanted to meet me outside by the ledge, half an hour passed then boom I'm thrown off. She tried to drown me but to defend myself, I bit her."

"I'll be right back," David growled and my parents sat me down to check if I was fine.

David POV

That little bitch. Who did she think she was? Hurting my mate?! I'm tired of her bullying Eve, I'm putting my foot down.

I walked out the door and to the ledge where Lena was struggling to get up from. I rolled my eyes mentally and walked over to her.

"Need some help?" I asked and she nodded, trying to play hurt. I smiled and used my strength to kick her off the egde hard.

She groaned in pain as she landed hard on the ice floor. She held her face and arm in pain and I jumped down, landing right next to her.

I gripped her throat and pulled her up to my level as she struggled for air. "Listen here," I tightened my grip, "and listen well. Eve is my mate. She's stronger and faster, but that won't stop me from protecting her."

She tried clawing at my hand as I continued, "You tried to hurt her. Seeing as she already bit you, I'll let it slide but let me tell you something. Hurt her again and I will END you in the most suffering way possible."

I threw her on the ground and she cried out. I took a look at her bite mark. A surge of pride ran through me as I looked at how nasty Eve bit her.

I smirked, "I'll be sure to reward my girlfriend for that." She hissed and said, "You really think a tiny bite will stop me from being with you?"

"Oh you don't know a hybrid bite can kill a vampire?" I asked innocently. A look of terror and fear ran across her face.

"W-What?"

"My girl is a hybrid you don't want to mess with," I said as I walked away from her frozen ass. I flew up the ledge and I said to a passing guard.

"Lena is down there. She's hurt but be sure to tell Demetri she tried to attack Eve."

He nodded and jumped off the ledge. I walked over to training room and saw Eve, watching her parents while looking so bored.

I chuckled at how adorable she is and she snapped her head to mine. A wide smile went on her face instantly and I opened my arms for her.

She got up and ran over to me, jumping into my arms. I held her and kissed her forehead. "I'm so proud of you baby girl."

She giggled, "Bitch asked for it." She pulled away to look at me, "Should we tell my parents what we discussed last night?"

I thought about it before nodding. They at least deserved to know before Eve and I have a child. I honestly never thought I'd have the gift of being a father.

I always wanted a child but me, being immortal, that'd be impossible, but not with my hybrid mate and our bond.

She's my everything. She brought me so much happiness. I never want to lose her. I laced our fingers together as we walked over to her parents, who were determined to win against each other.

With Eve, if I let her win..she'd be angry and kick my ass more.

"Mom. Dad," Eve said and they stopped to look at their daughter and I. They got off the apron and walked over to us.

"Um babe. I think we should discuss this where there are no others with heightened listening." I said and she nodded.

We all walked up to our room, where the walls were amazingly sound proof.

You know..for private conversations ;)

They sat down on the bed and Eve held onto my arm. She looked at me and I gulped. I guess she wants ME to die by them..

"Eve and I discussed and we wanted to let you guys know that we have decided to have a child," I didn't beat around the bush.

They looked at each other, then Selene bursted into tears. I raised an eyebrow and Selene said, "We n-never had a chance to see our daughter grow up. Now we can have the honor of watching our grandchild grow up."

She pulled us into a big hug and Michael patted my shoulder in thanks.

Guess we're good to go. Now I'm excited for the next part.
