Eve POV

I huffed angrily as I zipped up my last suitcase. We had waited for summer to begin as we headed towards the Nordic Coven.

"Oh honey, stop being so pouty," my mother begged, but I did NOT want to spend my summer where there was no SUN!

I smirked, getting an idea. I ran down the stairs to where David and my father were loading the car up. I purred lowly, knowing it drives him crazy, "David baby."

He gulped, knowing I was up to something. I walked over him and ran a finger up and down his chest slowly.

His eyes glazed over and I knew I had him where I wanted him. I batted my eyelashes and said, "Can we please stay here baby?"

He nodded, still in a daze. I smirked, you gotta love this mate affect. My dad coughed loudly and that seemed to snap him out of the daze.

He glared a bit, "Eve! Not fair." I shrugged, "Don't care." My mother brought down the last luggage and we hopped in.

I placed in my headphones and stared angrily at the passing trees. After we got to the airport, we made our way to where the Nordic Coven stayed.

I looked up at the huge ice mountain and said, "You expect us to climb that?" I was dressed in dark red skinny jeans, converse, and my black veil brides tee shirt.

We had to dye my hair black to cover up the ombre so people wouldn't notice me. My mother laughed and said, "You're faster than us. You can handle it."

I rolled my eyes and grabbed a few suitcases, using my strength to throw it over the ledge at the top. My dad looked at my mom, who nodded.

She crouched down, then used her vampire strength to fly over the huge 100ft wall. We threw her the luggage and she whistled for us to come up.

My David went, then my father looked at me. "Race you." I pounced on the wall quickly and before I could blink, I was on top. Dad beat me and I huffed, "I'll get you one day old man."

He tickled me and I giggled, but we sensed someone walking to us. I hissed at her warningly. She was beautiful. Very.

I felt jealous of her looks. She smiled warmly and walked over, "Hello Selene."

"Lena," my mother greeted. Lena noticed David and hugged him, but I did NOT like that. I grabbed her arm and flung her back, away from my mate.

I phased and crouched in front of him. He's mine! She got up and said, "Little girl, I'm not interested in David. My lord you're strong."

"Don't TOUCH my mate ever again. Got it white hairs?" I growled and David held me to him. My mother said, "Eve, enough. She's protecting us."

"No! I can protect MYSELF. I've done it for 16 years," I said as I jumped off the ledge. I needed to get away from them. I used my speed to run off. Where?

I didn't know.

I sat down after a few seconds of running and poked at the frozen ice. I heard a growl off in the distance. I quickly stood up and looked around, but I couldn't see.

I heard the ice crack beneath me and before I could move, I fell in with a scream.

"AHH!" I couldn't breathe. It couldn't really see. I tried feeling around for the whole but I couldn't find it. I screamed for help but I was losing air.

I tried punching the top but my power was fading with each attempt. I closed my eyes when I felt the fight leave me.
