"Alright, I've been cruising some websites. Think I've found a few candidates for our next gig," Dean says as we drink our coffee. I'm sitting in Dean's lap. Sam seems to be drawing. "A fishing trawler found off the coast of Cali. It's crew vanished. And, uh, we got some cattle mutilations in west Texas. Hey! Am I boring you with this hunting evil stuff?" Sam finally looks up.

"No, I'm listening. Keep going," Sam turns back to his paper.

"And here, a Sacramento man shot himself in the head three times," I continue. I wave my hands at Sam. "Any of this blowing up your skirt, pal?"

"Wait, I've seen this," Sam says.

"Seen what?" Dean asks. Sam gets up and goes over to his bag. "What are you doin'?"

"Dean, I know where we have to go next," Sam says, holding his drawing and a picture.

"Where?" I ask.

"Back home," Sam says. "Back to Kansas."

"Okay, random. Where'd that come from?" Dean asks.

"Alright, uh, this photo was taken in front of our old house, right?" Sam brings the photo over to us. "The house where Mom died."

"Okay," I say.

"And it didn't burn down, right? I mean not completely, they rebuilt it, right?" Sam asks.

"I guess so, yeah. What the Hell are you talkin' about?" Dean asks.

"Okay, look. This is gonna sound crazy but the people who live in our old house . . . I think they might be in danger," Sam says.

"Why would you think that?" I ask.

"Uh, I just, um. Look, just trust me on this, okay?" Sam says.

"Kay, whoa, whoa, trust you?" Dean asks.

"Yeah," Sam's already packing.

"I'll call and ask Eli," I say. "Maybe he'll know."

"Yo Ellie," Eli picks up on the first ring. I put it on speaker. "Hey, this might be weird, but I've got a sneaking suspicion about this house in Kansas."

"What?" I ask.

"Hey, Eli," Sam grabs my phone. "I have these nightmares."

"I've noticed," Dean leans over.

"And sometimes they come true," Sam says.

"I understand," I say.

"Look, guys, I dreamt about Jessica's death for days before it happened," Sam says.

"Look, dude, I understand. That's why I want you all to get your asses down here to Kansas," Eli says.

"I saw everything but I didn't believe it and now I'm dreaming about that tree. About our house and some woman inside screaming help. I mean, that's where it all started, man, that's got to mean something, right?"

"I don't know," Dean says.

"Dude, time's a tickin'," Eli says.

"Hold on!" I scream. "All of you need to take three deep breaths. Sam, you're just telling us all this now? That you've got the shining and now you need to go back home?"

"This could be the thing that killed Mom and Jessica," Sam says.

"I swore to myself that I would never go back there," Dean says.

"Look, we need to check this out as a group, so get your asses on the road," Eli sighs. "Just to make sure."

"Alright. It's settled," I clap.
