THE NEXT ADVENTURE: CHAPTER THIRTY ONE--Wendy's P.O.V.

"Wendy," Peter started, taking my hand and beginning to pull me off. "Wendy?" He asked.
        "Yes, Peter?" I asked.
"Wendy, I feel like you're going to really like this." I giggled at Peter for having had said my name three times.
"I love everything you show me," I answered.
"No. I think you'll really love this."
"Are you sure you're well rested for this, Peter?"
"Of course I am!" He protested. I laughed again. Peter was so cute.
"I don't want you stressing your ankles," I spoke honestly.
"My ankles healed a long time ago, Wendy!" Peter protested again.
"Well I certainly hope so," I mumbled.
"And it's all your fault you know," Peter added.
        "What is?" I asked, confused.
"My ankles are healed because you walked with me a lot." I understood.
"You do so much for me, Peter," I replied.
"You deserve it. You saved my life!" Peter piped still pulling me off and with strength too. I was excited.
"Oh, I didn't do that much, Peter," I responded. Peter halted and turned himself around quickly.
"Of course you did!" Then he pulled me into a hug. "And I think I love you for it!" My eyes widened and my cheeks flushed with red. Peter began taking me away again. I don't think he expected a reply so I remained quiet. He must've not realized what he said...of course. He didn't believe in loving someone, I don't think.

Coming to a thick wall of weeds, I could hear a pond. It had been slightly foggy around the island and it almost looked like dusk but it wasn't. Peter then stopped and looked at me with a smile. "Ready?" He asked.
"Whenever you want, Peter," I said. He then grinned and pulled me through the weeds.

As I had predicted, I found a pond, a blanket of fog laying over it. "Okay, now we must be quiet," Peter whispered.
        "Why...what for, Peter?" I wondered.
"Shhh," he whispered coolly then brought me close to the pond. We knelt down and waited. Peter suddenly whistled beautifully toward the pond and up from the surface came what looked like fairies. They didn't glow or anything. They were wet. Their wings were droopy but suddenly opened wide being a faint purple color. I gasped.
        "Shhh!" Peter hissed lightly.

They suddenly all began dancing with each other. They skidded the water with their wings at times. Then suddenly they all began lifting the pond water turning it into shapes and pictures like hearts, birds, and trees, and other wonderful things.

Peter then wrapped his arms around me. "I love you so much, Wendy," he whispered. I couldn't help it and gasped again.
"Do you really, Peter?" I asked hopeful.
"I think I always have," he assured me. I smiled with tears in my eyes.
            "How wonderful," I cheered quietly.
"Do you love me back, Wendy?" Peter asked hopeful.
"Oh of course, Peter!" I replied. He grinned wildly then kissed me all over my face making me giggle.
