Valerian.

Everything was wrong. The sweet natured girl whom you had assumed couldn't hurt a fly, was apparently a complete and utter psycopath.

You attempted to struggle against the binding spell that had you stuck to the floor, rendering you speechless too but it was no use, you couldn't move.

Valerian was standing over you, her face devoid of expression. You couldn't help but stare at the glassiness of her eyes, they didn't look right. Usually the girl was so full of spirit and a shy fire that set those brown eyes alight.

Immediately, you knew thatsomething was very wrong, more so than you had initially thought.

Your thoughts were disrupted by a second lot of footsteps. Who on earth could be joining you?

Straining your eyes to looked sideways, feeling your heart leap into your throat as you set your eyes upon...

Isadora.

Catching your eye, she shook her head, indicating to you that she was not the traitor.

So if it wasn't her...could it really be...?

The final figure to join you and your two friends was a male, Jules Hollinger.

Against the subtle moonlight, you watched him shut the wooden door behind him. With a quick mutter of a spell, the door was sealed. You were locked in with Newt's attempted murderer.

Dear Reader,

I think that it's time for you to know the truth. Are you ready?

As you may know, Jules Hollinger liked to be on top of everything: his classes, his school work, most likely in bed too. However, the one thing stopping Jules from fully being alpha dog, where studies were concerned, was Newt.

The constant grade battle between the two males had quite frankly, driven Jules to the point of insanity.

Until Newt suddenly disappeared from his lessons. Why? Because of that life-changing argument between you and him in the library.

Things for Jules had become slightly easier. He no longer had to stress about his latest assignment, with Newt out of sight, he could be out of mind too.

But you then had to go and befriend Newt, returning Jules's very own Moriarty back into his life and the male despised you for it.

From that moment on, he had fabricated and acted out an intricate plan to rid the world of Newt Scamamder.

Using his knowledge of magical creatures, Jules knew that the mermaids and giant squid would be preoccupied and therefore, sneaking up behind Newt, he was able to push the other male beneath the murky waters and thus, assuming he had finally disposed of Newt.

Except that he hadn't and then he had heard that you were suspicious of his bitter relationship with the not-so-dead-Newt. Immediate action had to be taken.

Using the Imperius Curse, the vile male had bewitched your friends, Valerian and Isadora. The research, the potion-making, the entire plan for the night, it had all been a ruse. A trap to lure you to the owlery, where Jules would fake three murders, making sure to dispose of your friend too (whom was currently unconscious and being stored in a cupboard for later).

The scenario Jules would create would reveal the following to the population of Hogwarts:

After failing to murder Newt, you had become so enraged that, you had used the Imperius Curse and bewitched your friends, Valerian and Isadora. The research, the potion-making, the entire plan for the night, it had all been a ruse. A trap to lure Jules to the owlery, where you would murder Valerian, Jules, Isadora and your friend.

Only Jules had apprehended you, saving himself but unfortunately not your friends and certainly not you.

In a fight to the death, you would accidentally fall from the window, in an attempt to escape and therefore, to your death.

The male would be hailed as a hero and with Newt in the infirmary for the near future indefinitely, top of his class and most likely, his year.

So now you know what had happened to Newt and what was instore for you. The question was, would Jules get away with his plan? Or would a new fate intervene?

Well, I could tell you now but unfortunately, you're just going to have to wait until the next chapter.
