Finally! David was getting married. After all these years of struggle, the pain, the loss of friends and family members, he was finally on track to fixing his own life. Well, you may be wondering...

Who in the world, is David?

Well, until 3 years ago, David was just an insignificant part of the world until his life drastically changed for the worse. David was just some random guy's name until a series of events decided to change the fate of his entire small, innocent yet complicated life.

David and I met at the university where we were studying. We were both doing our degrees in Naval Architecture. Something that was cool and was in high demand ten years ago. Life in universities lasts for a few years and one thing I saw was the formation of some really beautiful memories as well as the emergence of some endless bonds of friendship.

Besides David, I met this nice and beautiful girl (or at least what I thought of her in the first place). She had a beautiful name; Suzanne. Wow! What a beautiful name. and with that beautiful name came a very cute face. A very beautiful face indeed. She was our batch mate back at university. (remember her! She's going to be very important for this story)

And then there was Patrick whom we used to call Pat with all due respect and love. Pat was the perfect student with perfect marks. But there was just a slight problem with him and that was that he was a damn nerd. Everyone has their ups and downs and so did Pat. Pat was a great student and had great character, he was very humble and straightforward but a little weird in some sense. In the sense that people could easily manipulate his mind. Do you get what I am trying to say?

And then there was me... 

Who am I? 

Well ... My name is Omar and this story is the start of my adventures as a crime writer and now a best-selling novelist. Not only that, this story probably changed me for the good.

As stated just above ... I met Suzanne, David, and the rest at university. It was just a dream come true. To know that you have been accepted at a renowned university. It was those feelings that were usually associated with something good. So entering university was a major achievement in life and I thought that nothing could just go wrong when one day it just happened. Life just snapped!

How it happened and what were the consequences of the incident are the gist of the whole book but before that, it is important to let you know that this is a story full of twists so if you are up for a twisted tale then this is the right place to get that and to get to know more, we need to go back to the past. We need to jump back in time to 3 years ago; 2013. The start of all problems.
