Ch.37 Togue Union official

*Ox's point of view*

I walked into Royal's room and shook him awake. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.

"Is it time already?" He asked tiredly.

"Yeah, it is, Aki want's us there early so she can tell us the event schedule and the order of the events." I said

"Ok, I'll shower and get ready." Royal said as he climbed out of bed.

*later*

Royal and I got in our cars and headed to the event location. We parked our cars next to the Togue union tent. Aki greeted us once we were inside.

"Hey guys, ok so here's how the event is gonna run, we have six teams running including Togue Union. The teams will be pitted against each other throughout three rounds, whichever team does the best wins." She explained.

"Sounds like fun, so Ox and I are show hosts?" Royal asked

"Show hosts and event announcers." Aki stated.

"Great, now what about Azuki racing you?" Ox asked

"There's gonna have to be a change of plans on that, with the six teams the event's gonna run till later tonight." Aki said.

"Alright, I'll let her know later tonight." Ox said.

"So let's get the show started, our gates open at 8 AM." Aki said.

Royal and I went and got ready and before we knew it we had a full event, hundreds of thousands, if not a couple million people were all waiting for Royal and I to start the show.

"You ready?" Royal asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be." Ox replied.

The two of us walked out on stage as the crowed erupted with cheers. Royal and I picked our mics out of their stands.

"Welcome everyone to the first official Togue Union event, I'm your host Ox with my co host, you might recognize him from Rogue Speed, Royal himself."

"Its greet to be here, I'd like to thank Aki and Togue Union for inviting me out here to help host the show for you guys."

"We have a load of races lined up for you guys, Six teams." Ox said

"One champion team." Royal said.

"Who will take the gold." Ox asked

"And who will scrape the wall?" Royal asked.

"Our first team hails from northern Japan, the new comers, Team Suki." Royal said

Next we have our semipro team, Drift Apocalypse." I said

"Coming from the United Kingdom we have drift unit." Royal said

"From southern Japan we have the Red Suns." I said

"the ever famous team which is one of my favorites, Risky Devil." Royal said

"And our last team, you know them, you love them, their name is in the title of this event, Togue Union." I said

Those are our teams, the first round will be starting soon, so racers make your way to your cars. Royal said.

The first six teams went into the first round, team Suki and the Red suns lost out in round one and Royal and I were back on the stage to announce who moved on to round two.

"The teams moving onto round two are, Drift Unit, Drift Apocalypse, Risky Devil, and Togue Union." I said

"The next round will be kicking off in ten minutes." Royal said.

Round two was intense, we had a car or two losing their bumpers, crashing, and so forth. However two teams made it to the final round, and they will be announced soon.

*Back on stage*

"The final two teams making it into the final round are. Risky Devil, and............Togue Union, two of the best drift teams going head to head for the gold, who will it be?" Royal asked

The final round started. Bumper to bumper, tires for tires, It was Aki's turn, she was up against Fish for the final pass. Fish went first nailing a solid 13,455 for his final score, then again, Aki is the drift king. Aki was given her signal to start and damn talk about tire smoke, it was thick and her driving like free flowing water in and out of each turn. Aki set a new record of 34,567 for her final score.

I can't believe what I'v seen here today ladies and gentlemen, Togue Union has taken the gold, with the drift king Aki Kamura setting a new drift record It looks like Togue Union might have some new competition, Thank you all for coming out tonight, I'm your host Ox.

"And your co host Royal."

"We thank you all for coming out tonight and don't try drifting on your way home, we wanna host more events here." Ox said.

"Good night." Ox and I said in unison.
