We arrived home and I flipped the tv on and watched the news.

Things are looking dark for the Ventura Bay police department today after the famous racing team known as Rogue Speed filed a multi million dollar law suit after one of their drivers was assaulted by law enforcement and wrongly arrested, what followed the arrest was illegal seizure of the drivers race car on repossession papers that have now been written off as fraudulent. Said officer in charge of the case has been terminated from the force and an investigation is underway on finding the forger of the fake repo papers.

I just sat their smirking cause I knew the odds were in our favor. Azuki walked in and sat next to me.

"Hey Zuzu, what's up?" I asked.

"She hurt pretty bad about losing her car, isn't she?" Azuki asked.

"Yeah, but here's the deal, I know for a fact that the engine is still in tact because, engine blocks are quite literally uncrushable so they'd have to remove it to crush it." I said.

"Still, we made that car for her, that's probably what's bothering her, the fact she lost something that meant so much to her." Azuki said.

"Yeah, is she ok?" I asked.

"She won't stop crying, I'm afraid she thinks she's back to where she started and that she's worried I don't think she's ready again."

"What happened wasn't her fault, some dick head cop thought he was above the law and he payed the consequence." I said.

"I know, but what can we do for her now?"

"Give her all the support she needs, go through the court process and get back what's ours, we'll build that damn Mustang from ground up if we have to." I said.

Azuki smiled. "You really do love her don't you?" She asked

"Yeah, I do, I love all my neko's equally, I don't pick one  over the others." I said.

"I know, go to her, she needs you." Azuki said.

"Right." I said getting up and heading down the hall.

The days went on until our court date, Rogue Speed ended up winning the law suit, the police department payed us our fees and we found the engine that was in a pile of parts to auction off and bought it. Now the hard part, finding a 70 Mustang Boss.

"Any idea where we can find one Zuz?" I asked.

"We could try that classic car dealership where we bought it the first time." Azuki replied.

"Alright, lets go."

Surprisingly we luck was on our side and we bought the Mustang and tore the stock engine out and dropped the 502 in it. After a fee hours of wiring the Mustang was read, good as new. I went up stairs tired and flipped on the TV to see a news program talking about some street racer.

The internet is buzzing tonight with newly released video of a racer calling himself F-8 or Fate wreaking havoc on racers in a race, We know that street racing is a contact sport but this level of racer on racer violence is unheard of.

"And who might you be?" I asked myself.
