I stopped at the line next to Eddies Skyline and noticed his window roll down again, I did the same.
"You're quite the driver to make it this far, let's see if you still got it."
He rolled his window up and I followed. We waited for the signal, this race was just once round the mountain a few hairpin turns and some straits. Let's do this. The light turned green and I slammed my foot onto the gas pedal and took of before Eddie, This strait lead right to our first hair pin.
I ripped the e-break and slid around th corner, shifting back to fourth gear once I came out of the turn. I looked in the rearview and Eddie was a good distance behind me, good that's where he meeded to be.
I shifted to fifth as the second strait continued. I stole quick glances at my rearview to see how far behind Eddie was. Still a ways away. My attention to Eddie was torn away by the second hair pin turn. Like the last one I drifted it, out, and back to a strait.
"How you doing back their, Eddie?" I asked myself.
The third turn came and gone like water flowing down a stream. And on we went. Eddie started gaining as we neared the last turn.
"Last turn, last turn." I said to myself.
I made it out the turn followed closely by Eddie's Skyline. I pressed the buttons on my steering wheel and left Eddie in the dust as I crossed the finish line.
Within a few minutes I received a call from Eddie.
"Damn, you got me, so I guess the Skyline is yours now, I'll follow you to your place and hand it off to you."
Eddie followed me back to the cafe where everyone was waiting. I parked and got pit with my helmet still on amd Eddie approached and handed me the keys to the Skyline. I took off my helmet revealing myself.
"N-no way its you, Royal, the kid from Olympic city?" Eddie asked shocked.
"Yeah, and this kid just beat you twice and owns your car now." I smirked.
"Whatever, enjoy it while it last's, there's always gonna be someone who's a little bot faster than you, and one day their gonna catch up." Eddie said.
I tossed him some cash for a can and walked inside the cafe and upstairs to sleep.
The next few chapters are gonna be some romance chapters, stay tuned.
