Jack's POV

Classes in the morning went by fast. No one really talked to me today besides Mark. He was nice. I felt lucky to have him as a roommate. I felt happy for the first time in a while. I hoped he would be my friend. Maybe more.

I was pansexual after all and Mark fit my standards so far perfectly. His eyes were beautiful. The slightest bit of light made them almost golden. His hair was super fluffy. His laugh was the best laugh ever. Highly contagious. I loved it.

I wonder if I could keep a room with him. If I could contain myself from desire. I hope I can. The school for sure, would judge me and more importantly him. He had built a great friend group, one I wanted to be in.

It was almost lunch time as I watched the clock count the last four minutes of class. I studied the maps on the wall of Europe. I miss my home. It was so close yet, so far away from me. It killed me. At least I'd see my family during winter break. I couldn't wait.

My World Studies teacher, Ms. Gribly walked over to me and handed me a textbook for when I needed to study in my dorm. She didn't say anything though. She didn't even have a smile on her face.
"Thank you." I try to be polite as possible to leave good impressions on my teachers. I heard a whisper from the back of the room.
"Teacher's pet." I didn't turn to see who it was. I was used to it.

The bell rang dismissing us from fourth period to lunch. I looked around for the red haired Mark that I was going to be sharing a room with for the next two years of my life. Its like we're already married. Haha. I smiled at my crappy joke, still searching for him.

Not that much time passed before I saw him. He was sitting in the courtyard with his friends. One had bright blue hair. I'd seen him in my first two classes. Geometry and Physics which I hated. I wasn't good at math at all. It just confused me. The other boy he was sitting with had curly dark brown hair and bushy eyebrows. I haven't seen him before.

I approached the table, lunch in hand. I sat down next to Mark and the blue haired boy.
"Hey Jack." Mark said smiling "These are my other friends Ethan," pointing to the boy next to me "and Tyler." Pointing to the other across from me.
"Hi. Nice to meet you." I said sounding a little to happy.

We ate our lunch and talked about music and movies for the longest time.
"Mark, what class do you have for sixth period?" I asked.
"English. Why?"
"Just curious." My face started to bloom with blush.
I noticed Ethan staring at me. I didn't pay attention though. I didn't want to spill my secret to them yet. Especially not Mark.

I couldn't wait for my music class. I loved to play the drums. It was my favorite. Before I left, my hand brushed against Mark's hand and we both blushed profoundly.
"Urm. I'm going to go. See you later guys." As I got up and started for my next class early.
