Mark's POV
We were sitting in the office lobby now. I, of course, was looking nervous as hell.
The door to Mrs. Suzanne's office opened to reveal her face, stern and confused. Jack probably looked really bad in her mind now. Being the new kid was not fun considering I was more than once in my life so far.
I was worried that she had called my parents, that she had told them that I was hugging another boy, crying my eyes out to him on the campus sidewalk.
"Boys, come into my office please." I nodded and stood up, brushing the dirt off my knees.
"Have a seat. I'm concerned why you two were hugging and crying in the school yard. Please, explain to me why." Jack started to speak up.
"Urm, ma'am Mark and I, we urm,"
"We were talking about a sad movie when I started to cry and I didn't know Jack was as sensitive as I thought he was." I chimed in, possibly saving ourselves and embarrassing us at the same time.
"Oh? What movie was it?"She asked with a slight aura of disbelief.
"Old Yeller. It really makes me sad because I love dogs."
"Of course Mr. Fishbach. Sorry for the misunderstanding boys. Return to your dorms, or dorm as I believe."
"Yes ma'am." We said in unison. We stood up to leave, gathering our book bags and heading out the door. I was glad she didn't push further into this.
"That was great. I didn't know how well you could lie Mark." he said smirking at me.
Wow. I never noticed how cute he was when he smiles. What am I thinking? I can't fall in love with my roommate, I'd look like such a fool.
We walked back into our dorm room, shutting the door and collapsing onto our beds. I saw Jack scrolling on his phone then, finally tapping. A tune soon filled the air. I could've sworn I'd heard this before.
"Do you like Panic! At The Disco?" That's what it was.
"I don't usually listen to them, but yeah. Is that House Of Memories?" I asked, slowly moving to Jack's side of the room.
"Yeah. It's one of my favorites."
"Cool." He smiled at me, making my face turn a little pink. I saw his cheeks flash red before he turned his head away.
Several songs later, I came up with a great idea.
"Hey, do you want to play some video games?"
"Sure."
I crawled over to the console, turning it on and grabbing two controllers.
"GTA5, Minecraft or we could play Shadow of the Collosus. We'll probably have to take turns playing it but that's ok with me." I smiled as I tossed him the controller.
[I probably spelt that wrong tell me if i did!!!!!]
"Let's do it!"[(*3*)] We played that game for hours on end. He finally fell asleep on my shoulder around two in the morning. I kissed his hair not even thinking.
"Goodnight you little potato."
