Chapter16|You're Amazing.

[Liam'sPOV]

I scanned the small alley with Alexis by my side. It was already dark outside, & it made this alley look even creepier.

"Liam, I'm scared. Let's get out of here." I heard Alexis whisper.

I nodded. "Alright, let's go." I answered, turning around.

Then we heard a step. "What was that?" Alexis gasped.

"I-I don't know. Maybe it was a cat or something, don't worry."

I heard her gulp. That's when we heard another step. Alexis took my hand. "Let's go Liam,"

"Alright, alright."

We kept walking, still hand in hand. I didn't really mind, her hands were warm, & it was freezing out here.

We still didn't have a sign of Jade. We were going to find her though. No matter what. Zayn will never be able to smile, if she never comes back to him.

I was snapped out of my thoughts, when Alexis screamed.

"What happened?" I asked, holding her hand tighter.

"Somebody threw a rock at me, I swear."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Liam. I'm really scared."

"Come on." I said, then hurried my pace. We needed to get out of here. It was creeping the shit out of me.

I felt something hit me on the head. Hard.

I fell on my knees, & groaned.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" Alexis rambled.

"My head. Something hit me on the head, really hard."

Even though it was dark, I could see her bright, yet dark brown eyes look at me with worry. She put her hand on the back of my head.

"Liam, you're bleeding!" Alexis gasped again.

"Shit," I cursed.

She took off her black scarf, & put it on the back of my head.

"Do you think you could walk?" She asked me.

"Alex, it's my head, not my foot," I chuckled.

She blushed.

I stood up, & took her hand with my right hand, & with the other, held the scarf on my head.

We started walking.

"I hate being outside in the dark." She sighed. "I feel like I'm in a horror movie."

"Don't think like that, love."

I felt her nod.

"Do you think the other lads are looking for Jade?" I asked.

"Maybe they are, or they went to the fair trying to find something more fun to do."

I chuckled.

We finally found the exit of the horrible alley.

We got in my car.

"Do you want to go over there to the lad's place, or to my apartment with me?"

"Can you take me to your place? I don't think the other lads are home." She answered.

"Of course."
