Author's Note

  This story has been through a lot.

  I've had this story for years and I've been working on it for years (even though there have been some hiatus')

  It's probably been almost three years can you imagine.

  There was going to be more. But I felt like adding more and more and more would draw away from what I originally wanted these books to say.

  That you can be shattered and broken and bruised. You can be hurt and torn. But someone is always going to love you.

  Even if you feel like that person isn't there. They are. I promise.

  I'm here.

  I'll be here for you.

  This story will always be here for you.

  I know reading and writing is an escape for most. It's an escape for me.

  Never stop writing.

  And if you ever feel sad and this story is comfort to you, it will always be here for you. I will always be here for you and Adam and Samandriel and the story of them will always be here for you.

  Forever.

  Always.

  You're loved. And you're valid. And even if things seem like shit now, they'll get better. I swear on everything.
