MARRY ME 12: "I want to see You"

Chapter 12

The stars bled like glowing jewels in the sky. The tall teenager gently guided the beautiful petite teen down from the splendid black stallion. As soon as the former secured the horse to the white alder tree, she spread a huge blanket on the verdant hilltop's ground and prepared the basket for their nocturnal picnic.

"It's beautiful here." The shorter teen said in awe as her eyes gazed upon the jeweled night sky.

The tall teenager turned her attention the mesmerized petite girl and stood to approached the latter. "Yes, but not as beautiful as you," the tall teenager commented, her eyes glued in admiration to the beauty in front of her. Wordlessly, she proceeded to play with the jet black curls of the shorter teen.

The petite girl's eyes grew wide as she stared at the tall gorgeous girl's lumiscent gray eyes— something was reflected in them; something she hoped that she had corrrectly perceived. Her mouth became slightly ajar when the tall teenager traced the back of her index finger on the shorter girl's cheeks and lips.

"I love you," the taller girl confessed earnestly; her moonstone eyes shining with genuine love.

"Gabby..." the girl exclaimed hoarsely. Tears, joyful tears, welled from her eyes. Her light brown eyes sparkling with an emotion— an emotion mirroring that of what was in Gabby's gray eyes. "It is the first time you said those words to me. I've been... I've been waiting for you to say those words to me."

"Then always remember those words for I will say them only to you and no one else... If you want to, I will tell you 'I love you' every day..." Gabby said huskily while she continued to caress the petite beauty's lips— memorizing its crevices and contour like a prayer. She leaned down and placed a soft kiss on the petite girl's forehead. "I promise you that I will love you for the rest of my life; until my last breath..." She then moved to kiss the shorter girl's nose before capturing the latter's soft pink lips for a passionate kiss. "I will love you forever; only you... Please remember that."

"Gabby..." The petite girl gasped between the kiss before she opened her mouth to welcome the onslaught of Gabby's tongue. It was a slow yet sweet kiss; full of love and hopes for the future. "Gabby, I love you too... I love you very much..."

And beneath the star-spangled sky, Gabby laid the beautiful petite girl on the blanket and made love to her until the night melted into dawn.

Huge beads of sweat formed at the side of Gabby's forehead as she woke up from her dream. No it was not merely a dream but a memory that came back to haunt her. She moved to a sitting position and turned her head to the right side of her king size bed.

2:15 AM

"Damn it!" She muttered angrily but, as soon as the words left her mouth, she immediately regretted what she said. She hated cursing and, if she cursed, it happened rarely. But lately, her nerves had gone haywire for no apparent reason at all.  Or, perhaps, it started after she brought Ashley to the Forest?

Since then, all the memories that she tried hard to forget came back to her like a high speed train on a wreck; messing up with her senses. It did not help that she barely had any slept for the fear that she would be hounded by nightmarish dreams. She was stressed out both emotionally and physically. She wanted to drown herself in alcohol but what was the point? When she became sober, the reality would slap her again that she was just nothing but a miserable person. A pathetic and miserable fool.

Gabby released a deep sigh.

Speaking of Ashley, she had not visited her since she brought her to the Forest although there was not a day that she did not call nor leave a text message on the latter's phone. Aside from it, she had been secretly stalking Ashley and contented herself with watching the latter from a distance.
