Author's Note:

I guess this will be the second to the last retrospective chapter. I am sorry I tried to make this the last but I could not reach 3000 words because I don't have anything left in my brain to write but I will and I shall finish this because I still have a lot of stories to write. Not edited so please forgive me.

Marry Me 20

'What do you think you are doing here?' Isabelle hissed in exasperation. Her face fixed into a glare upon seeing the person she now considered her nemesis leaning lazily against the doorway of the Photography club studio. It did not help that the sunlight streaming from the door hit the latter's back, giving her an almost ethereal feel about her. But despite Gabrielle's pretty face, she was still irritating!

'Are you not excited to see me?' Gabrielle responded smugly while eyeing Isabelle from head to foot.

The petite girl rolled her eyes and ignored the taller one to organize all her stuff.

Gabrielle somehow felt offended at being ignored–she was not used to it. She strode towards Isabelle and dragged the latter by the arm outside the studio.

'What do you think are you doing and where are you bringing me?' Isabelle's eyes widened in surprise.

'Just shut up and follow me.' Gabrielle muttered silkily.

Isabelle harshly took her arm and pushed the taller girl with all her strength before moving a few steps back.

Gabrielle smirked at the action and stalked the shorter girl like a predator.

'Get out of here!' Isabelle glared at Gabrielle. Taller or stronger, she would not let anyone intimidate her.

The gray-eyed girl looked at Isabelle with amusement before saying, 'Is that how you act towards someone who is giving a favor?'

Isabelle scoffed at the arrogance. 'Favor? Are you actually saying that you are giving me a favor? Like seriously.'

Gabrielle crossed her arms and nodded slowly to purposely annoy the latter.

'Look, I don't have the energy to put up with whatever silliness you are planning to do right now.' Isabelle said in resignation. 'But do you know that you will do me more favor if you get out of this studio?

'Why should I? I am pretty sure my presence will be more beneficial to you than my absence.' Gabrielle stated haughtily; deliberately ignoring the smaller girls mounting irritation.

'Oh, but your mere presence irritates me!' Isabelle hissed furiously. 'Now, get out! Out! Out!' She went near the bigger girl and began pushing the latter's back out of the studio.

Gabrielle laughed at the Isabelle's action. 'Hey! Hey! Before you shove me out of the door, I just drop by to tell you that I agree to the interview.'

The small girl paused at what she heard. 'What?'

Gabrielle turned to face Isabelle and smiled sweetly. 'I said, I agree to the interview. If I am not wrong, you only have a week left before the final submission of the contents for publishing.'

'You are not making fun of me, aren't you?'

'You don't strike me as the type of person who are fond of jokes if you heard rumors about me.'

'How should I know? Isn't that the purpose those are called 'rumors', hmm?' Isabelle pointed out. Skepticism was still evident in her brown eyes.

Gabrielle gave the smaller girl a genuine smile and said softly, 'Then why don't you try so you will have facts instead of rumors about me?'
