Author's Note:

If you notice, I am using a single quotation because this chapter is a reminiscent of Gabby's past. I am really sorry for the delay. I am just very busy. Anyway, I did my best to reach 3000 words before publishing but this is just part I of Chapter 19. Please vote or comment. By the way, this chapter is still a rough draft so I might revise this. thanks

I have noticed a lot of grammatical errors so I am trying to minimize them.

Chapter 19 I

'You know that the teachers are expecting we will pull an interview from Gabrielle James Windfields but it just seems that she is acting like a stuck-up spoiled brat.' Christine, The Photography and Journalism club president, said in desperation while burying her face in her right palm stressfully. 'Can anyone here convince her?'

'We tried and you even tried it but she still declines,' Wilma snarkily commented while rolling her eyes. 'Just how many times does she need to reject us? We can simply interview other school athletes—we can interview Archer Lyanne Diamonds or Sydney Jude Brandt.'

'We have already interviewed Archer two months ago and, gosh, she was the most ill-mannered person I have ever encountered in this school.' Christine scowled in recollection but her eyes softened when she said, 'As for Sydney.' There was a cloud of sweet phantasm hovering over her blue eyes before she put on her serious face. 'Well, we already interviewed her last month.'

'What if I try it?' A gentle voice from behind volunteered.

All five pairs of eyes directed their gazes to the girl who seemingly blended well into the wall.

'You are our photographer, Isa,' Christine raised her brows skeptically. 'And, you barely talk so how can you even convinced Gabrielle?'

Isabelle swallowed the lump in her throat and shyly looked at her neat black shoes. 'My twin sister is the student council president and she is a friend of one of Gabrielle's close friends.'

Silence had momentarily pervaded the four wall of the "The Photography and Journalism" club. It kept on dragging and no sooner, it made Isabelle feel both awkward and uncomfortable.

Suddenly a snap coming from the club president's finger broke the silence. 'Exactly!' Christine exclaimed as if she was Archimedes who said, "Eureka!" 'I think it will be easier for Isabelle to approach Gabrielle through her sister, Victoria!' She happily dashed towards Isabelle and, engaged her in a tight bear hug. 'Sweetie, you are brilliant! I hope you can pull this off before the deadline for publishing.'

Isabelle smiled and answered, 'I will do my best.'

'Look, how many times do I have to decline before you realize that I don't want to be interviewed?' Gabrielle coldly told her irritating school mate who had been following her relentlessly for a week.

'Please, it will only take a few minutes—you just have to answer some questions and I will take a photograph of you; that's just all then we are done.'

Gabrielle's eyes hardened in exasperation but she kept her temper at bay—it was not in her nature to be violent unless physically provoked. She decided to ignore her petite yet beautiful school mate, the twin sister of Victoria, school student council president and an acquaintance of her. She continued to stride towards the school hall. To her disappointment, the persistent girl tailed behind her like a dog to a master. 'Can you stay away from me?' She muttered through clenched teeth, her voice low. 'I am not the only athlete in school, you can interview the others.'

'But we have already interviewed them, please I beg you.' Isabella pleaded; holding onto Gabrielle's forearm to stall the latter from walking away.
